falta cozinha

Muito bom, bonito e arrumado, 2 piscinas muito boas..... mas nao tem cozinha disponivel e o café da manhã começa as 8h.....pra fazer os passeios sai sem café. Alem de um trecho super sinistro que tive que passar pra chegar, a noite nao dá.

I made reservation for private room and private bath knowing it was a hostel, but once we got there they tried to put us in a room of six. I asked for a refund but was not given one. Buyer beware.

Limpio y buena relación calidad-precio

El cuarto era de tres literas(6 camas) con baño compartido, la limpieza de la habitación es buena y las camas cómodas, cuenta con alberca. Para mejorar deberían tener el aire acondicionado más tiempo, ya que solo lo prenden por la noche y a 25 grados, uno de los huéspedes del cuarto desde temprano estaba con su música y eso también deberían cuidarlo. Los de recepción fueron amables, la ubicación es muy buena, cerca de una plaza comercial, restaurantes y bares, y las principales avenidas.

Very fun coloured hostel with its own unique character. It's far from the beach but if you hop on the bus you can get there in no time. Would stay again.

Nice staff but facility needs improvement

The front desk receptionist was very friendly and accommodating, especially the young man who works the afternoon and night shift. The dorm rooms are spacious, but the rooms are humid and sometimes smelled moldy due to lack of ventilation. The building doesn't have many windows. There are two separate showers in the bathroom.. We had to let water run for several minutes before it gets warm, water temperature was inconsistent. The room next door had no hot water and guests had to shower in our room. Lockable spaces under lower bunk bed. Bring your own lock or buy one at front desk for $5 USD. No keys are given out to guests in dorm room, and therefore rooms are always left unlocked. This is a security concern. 10 minutes walk to R1/R2 buses that go to the hotel zone and beaches. There are restaurants, bars, convenient stores on the main street. Supermarket and shops are within 15 minutes walk. Bed are comfortable and sheets are clean. Upper bunk bed doesn't have the safety bar to prevent from falling. No hooks in bathroom to hang towels and clothes. Glossy tile floor in bathroom becomes very slippery when wet. Bring a few clothes hangers and non-slippery slippers, you'll need them. I always bring my own towel too. Two swimming pools in the court yard, and 1 of them is only 2 steps away from the entrance. Someone could easily walk in and fall straight into the pool. Obviously they didn't design this place with guests' safety in mind.

Nice Staff but room facilities need improvement

First of all, the staff in the hostel is very nice, especially the young man who works afternoon/night shift. He's very patient and tries his best to help every guest. They speak decent English. Pros: Room are spacious and clean 2 separate showers inside bathroom of an 8-bed dorm room that I stayed in A/C in room, but only front desk staff have access to turn it on Two swimming pools in the court-yard which I never used Free basic breakfast in the kitchen Lounge area 2 lockable spaces under lower bunk bed. Each fits a small carry-on size suitcase and a backpack. Bring your own lock or buy one at hostel for $5 USD 10 minutes walk to the R1 and R2 bus that takes you to hotel zone and public beach area Restaurants and convenient store on the same street. Supermarket, laundromat (no laundry machine in the hostel) and souvenir shops are within 15 minutes walk Cons: - You have to let the water run for 3 minutes before it gets warm (waste of water). Water temperature is inconsistent. The room next door doesn't have hot water at all and they had to shower in our room. - Guests are not allowed to have a key to their room, thus rooms are always unlocked (security issue) - Few windows in building, bad ventilation, the rooms are humid and smell like mold - No place to hang towels or clothes in the bathroom and in the room. Bring a few clothes hangers, you'll need them. - Glossy tile floor in bathroom is very slippery when wet. Make sure to bring "non-slippery" slipper
