« I was told I there were 2 double beds in our room when I phone before I booked. On arrival there was a a king bed & a roll away bed which they set up while we were having dinner. Other that that everything else was sensational. »

« The hotel was well located with many restaurants and cafes near by and walking distance to many tourist attractions. Staff were super friendly and engaging. The one bedroom apartment was spacious and pristine with a lovely view of the mountains. The Avenue was one of the best hotels we have every stayed in and we will be back ! »

« Lovely well maintained older hotel/motel. Great staff, very clean with a bit of character. Despite being a hotel, very quiet and well located next to a small shopping centre with a decent supermarket and a small collection of other shops. No toaster or microwave, while the room (lower queen room) is compact, it is well suited to a 2 or 3 day stay. Helpful staff. Recommended as a good value stay close to Woden and the Canberra Hospital. »

« Spacious with a very nice location and great view of the lake. It's missing key kitchen items like drinking glasses, salt and pepper, cooking oil and cleaning supplies that would have made our stay more comfortable. Could have used a few extra towels and maybe some blackout blinds for the rooms that get a lot of light due to the nice large windows that walk out to the balconies. Overall a really good stay for a large group. The host was great with check-in times and communication. »
