About this space
Bring the whole family (and Fido!) to this great place with lots of room for fun! Less than two-tenths of a mile to the entrance of Green River Lake, youā€™ll find the roomy and charming Foster Lodge nestled in a quiet neighborhood. We have not one but TWO King sized beds and a full sized bed so no more awkward sleeping arrangements! Stocked with all the amenities any traveler could want, youā€™ll feel right at home! No cameras on our property because we respect your privacy. Key pad entry through garage where you can park your vehicle. Plenty of room for your boat, too! We canā€™t wait for you to be our guest!
The space
Foster Lodge is 2200+ square feet situated on a 1 acre lot that sits directly across from Green River Lake State Park! The front yard is adorned with beautiful, old oak trees, and the backyard is wide open for a friendly game of cornhole or wiffle ball!

Youā€™ll have the entire house (minus an unoccupied basement and 2 ownersā€™ closets) AND the two car garage to park ;)

Foster lodge at green river lake is a great place to stay. Extremely clean, nicely decorated and a lot of space. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The host is the best you can have. Responded quickly and went the extra mile to make our stay special. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home and treating us so kindly. We will be back next year!

There is a lot of love in this house! Made a lot of good food in the kitchen, had a lot of laughs in the living room and had some peaceful walks in the quiet neighborhood. We also gained about 15 pounds due to a nearby Amish market called Tastes Like Home. Great WIFI too! We had a wonderful stay and the host was lovely!

Very clean, small little touches of hospitality. Pet friendly accommodations were great. Photos and memorabilia of the home owner, and antique pieces of history were a nice touch as well. We had a great time outdoors as well, as the home is situated at the start of the Green River Lake State Park. 10/10 would definitely recommend, and would love to go again.

We gathered for a college homecoming reunion and left more like family. The furnishings, amenities and layout of the lodge was perfect ā€¦The open plan encourages lots of chatter and laughter. Beautiful sun room! The decor just says ā€œhome.ā€ Beds and baths and had special little welcoming touches. I would love to book for a week with my own family and enjoy the lake and outdoor areas! Just perfect! šŸ˜Š

We planned a 6 day fishing trip to Green River Lake, and we chose the Foster House for proximity to the lake, dog friendly, layout of the home, and excellent prior reviews. We definitely were not disappointed in any way! We felt right at home, comfortable, clean, everything you need, owner was responsive if needed. Will definitely book again for future fishing trips!

We had a great time at Katieā€™s. I have a 2 year old and it was a great spot for her, lots of toys and everything you need for a kiddo. We enjoyed going for a stroll through the neighborhood and saying hi to the horses. Such a great place!

This house was perfect for our group of 6 friends coming to enjoy the lake for the weekend. The house was very clean and had wonderful accommodations. The location was perfect - just a few minutes from multiple boat ramps and with a shop for ice and a cute local bar/restaurant right up the road. We are already planning to return in 2025!

Beautiful home and extremely clean. Fantastic neighborhood quiet and no busy traffic. Host is so kind and extremely helpful. Love the handmade ornaments keepsake waiting at arrival from host ā¤ļøHouse has everything you need. Great yard area for pups if traveling with dogs. Sunroom is gorgeous such a happy room. My teenagers walked into the house and said it's the nicest place we've stayed. My husband said if we can give the host and house a gazillion stars we should. šŸ˜‚. Very quaint with plenty of space to relax. Enclosed porch off the back is awesome. Lots of personal touches throughout the house. It is 100 yards from the entrance to the park where you can easily get to the small public beach/lake. Visited lots of family and friends and this was the perfect place to return to after a lot of driving. We will certainly book again the next time we are in town.

Foster Lodge was just perfect for our weekend lake get away. The home is beautifully decorated and very clean and organized. The welcome basket and handwritten note made us feel right at home. Itā€™s the perfect location to enjoy some time at the lake. We will definitely stay here again soon!

Property was exactly as listed. Kitchen appliances were a bit dated but adequate. Two small issues handled by hosts immediately. There were extra touches we didnā€™t expect-like a full candy dish, water and condiments in the fridge and cleaning supplies. Beds were comfortable and sunroom was a nice addition. Beautiful neighborhood with quick access to Green River State Park. Katie and Tracy were exceptional hosts.

I have had my eye on this home for a few months, so when we decided to book our trip, I was elated to find it was available at the time we needed. My first impression was, I could not believe how nice this home is for a lake house, it's extremely clean, relaxing and has everything you need and more. The neighborhood is beautiful, people take such care of their homes and it shows. it so relaxing and just minutes from the lake, you could even walk to the state park, its that close :) Katie is so responsive and accommodating, we had a couple of questions and she literally responded every single time very quickly. This will be the only place I will stay going forward when we travel to Green River, I wished we could have stayed longer and I am already looking forward to going back. If you are considering staying here, you will be SO happy you did. If I could give this more than 5 stars I would.

Such a spacious home with 3 bedrooms. Sun room was awsome. We didnā€™t have a lot of lounging time since we had a daily schedule for our grandsonā€™s baseball tournament at Campbellsville University. Wish we had found this place sooner. Jack will graduate this weekend and we may not have opportunity to visit this area again. We loved it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay @Foster Lodge! It had everything you need as your home away from home while being minutes away from Green River State Park! We loved our time here as we were celebrating our sonā€™s 18th birthday & Easter in a low-key way being one with nature. The fish were not biting as much as anticipated but nevertheless we had a wonderful weekend away from all the day to day stress! Highly recommend, & hope to return with other family members!

If you are used to being in the country but city close by this is where you want to book. This house has a nice country setting to it. It is very very quiet. But the city is in 10 minutes driving time. The host has thought of pretty much everything a family would need. Sun room is nice and spacious perfect for the kids playing with board games and other toys the host has there. All of the rooms are nicely decorated and very clean. It honestly doesn't feel like a rental due to all the little touches of being at home. This is definitely a place you'd want to put in your favorites for repeat stays. The host was awesome very nice and quick to respond.
