« Everything was great. However there is no TV so be prepared to spend that day outside or bring board games. Not much to do at night. We were gone during the day everyday but would have been nice to watch at night. Also if you plan on cooking they have everything but seasoning youll want to bring that with you. Id suggest brining food as closest HEB or groc store is 1hr 15min away. They have a nice waterhole to check out outdoor games for kids. We went end of June and was hot but had nice breeze...

« August 2025 family vacation was great the whiskey mountain Valley Cabins were amazing from check in to check out. Check-in was a breeze. The owners made it very easy and very straightforward with how to check in, they even let us know if that the cabin was ready way before our check in. The kitchen was great. They were fully equipped with utensils, pots and pans they provided a coffee maker and microwave. Everything was great. The cabin was literally like in their description just minutes away...

« I booked 2 days at the Uvalde side of the duplex. It was a spontaneous trip, and I was relieved at how easy it was to book our stay. « We had such a wonderful stay, made even better by the property owners!They were available for questions and when my Uncle arrived first, apparently chatty - he found their company so welcoming. The cabin had a little swing out front that the kids loved. We loved the pool and the commercial kitchen adjoining it - we are thinking birthday celebrations u der the Pavillion next year!
