« The room was filthy. The bed had pubic hairs and other things I have no idea what it was in the bed. My legs have itched since I left. I slept half the night in the car. The room smelled horrible. The shower was so dirty I didn't even want to shower in it. I have no idea how this place has the rating it did. Even if the bed was not filthy, it was horribly uncomfortable as well. The car was more comfortable. Honestly. Stay anywhere else. »

« Host was friendly and accommodating. Cabin was as expected and clean. »

« Beautiful place, a great place to relax and it was quiet. »

« Cabin was very clean , hosts were friendly & helpful . Nice place to stay for fishing trips on Lake Barkley. »

« Thank you for sharing your beautiful place with us. »

« This house was perfect. Located in a quiet, friendly neighborhood, it have just like being at home. It has a well stocked kitchen, many games and things to entertain children, comfortable beds and well stocked bathrooms. It has everything we needed for an almost weeklong stay. John and Julie even provided dog beds for our doggies. It was very dog friendly without any signs of being a dog friendly place (if that makes sense!). The fenced backyard, grill and table & chairs made the outdoor space a...

« This property was misrepresented. The cabin was run-down, dirty, and NOT by the lake and there was no beach access. The canoes and life vest were filthy and not water safe. The grill outside and across the drive from the so-called cabin was rusted completely out and was only the shell of a grill. The musty-moldy smell inside the cabin made it difficult to breath. We did not stay. »

« This is our second time staying at the property. The host was quick to respond and check in was easy. The home is clean and comfortable and a great location to kick back and relax. We really enjoyed hanging out by the firepit every evening at sunset. The kitchen is well stocked if you decide to cook on your get away. The game room is a nice spot to hang out for kids of all ages! We'd definitely stay at this property again and recommend to our friends. »

« Our week stay was ok but there are several maintenance and upkeep issues that could have made our stay fantastic. There were a lot of spiders inside the house and the house has a very strong musty odor. The odor was so strong I could smell it on items when I unpacked from our trip. The flooring was coming apart and in some places was sticking up. The grill wasn’t cleaned and the igniter didn’t work. The kitchen pans and the outdoor furniture/cushions need to be replaced/updated. Some of the...

« This was a fabulous cottage for us! We really enjoyed the screened in porch were we could see the water. It was well appointed, very clean, and exactly what we needed for our little R&R filled getaway. Highly recommend!! »

« The house was absolutely beautiful! We was a family of 10 and there was more than enough room for everyone and not feel crowded. Backyard leads directly to the lake, nice for swimming, kayaking and fishing. There is a good size yard to play games and hang out. Good flat spots for cornhole, badminton, etc... They have cornhole boards and multiple games supplied there for the family to keep entertained at nights. There is a dollar general and a convenient store 20 mins away for things forgotten....

« Excellent property. Check in was easy with no issues. Very clean and well organized. »

« Clean rooms, host was very fast at responding and making sure our stay was great. Hot Tub »

« Absolutely wonderful! Communication with the host was easy and timely. Answered all of my questions and was very accommodating to requests. Answered immediately when we were there regarding trash and so on. Beautiful property! Saw deer grazing on the lawn. Private dock was terrific for fishing and swimming. Loved the huge back deck especially with the covered area when it drizzled some. Just was a really great experience! Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone and will be...
