« We had a great time at FINCA el Refugio de Papito. The experience will stay with our family forever. The hosts were welcoming, friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a Pura Vida experience. Whether it was fishing in the pond, seeing the sloths, macaws, iguanas, turtles or herons it was fantastic. Their offers of fresh coconut, plantains, and fresh cane juice were well received. « The property is beautifully situated, comfortable and has everything one needs for a stay. The owners live on site and are very attentive and kind but not intrusive. It was well placed for exploring the Arenal area but be aware that the road from Nuevo Arenal is extremely pot holded and the 8 km takes 35 minutes to drive. »
