« What a lovely welcoming hotel in the centre of the village. Our dog had his own special treat on arrival of Posh dog wine. This made us all smile. I had let them know it was are anniversary and we also had a lovely surprise in our room. But oh my goodness the food it phenomenal from breakfast to lunch and then dinner WoW! « The pub is situated in peaceful countryside and is in a great location. The proprietors were so welcoming and kind, helping me to my room with my luggage. My room was comfortable, nicely decorated and the bathroom clean with nice toiletries. The food in the pub was good, and the service was friendly and efficient. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and would certainly stay there again if I’m in the area. »

« Great stay for two night break on the coast to Coast trail. Staff was friendly and helpful. Friday nights are very loud with karaoke so be prepared! Food was good, but basic pub food.
