Not the accommodation I booked
Turns out the accommodation I booked was not available and was not informed until 3 days before, even though I booked 3 weeks ahead so I was given no option on my own holiday and the first words the host said was “I’m allowed, it’s in the T&Cs”, I guess it’s not my money or holiday. Now I’m having trouble getting my damage deposit refunded, she has not replied to my email. Other than that the place we did stay at was nice, just not on the beach front like I had planned.

As the guest is aware we are working with him and Home Away regarding the differing amounts we have on record versus what the guest has on record and hope to resolve this soon. The guest was upgraded to different property that met all all requirements, unfortunately sometimes houses have issues with plumbing etc and we do our best to accommodate our guests in these situations.

Great Location
Original 70s character home, 70s carpet, all original fixtures and fittings from original owner. Hot showers, beds warm and comfy, washing machine (no dryer), nespresso coffee machine. Reverse cycle aircon upstairs, great view and location. Has everything you need. Good family house, and pet friendly which suited our needs.

Brilliant location, house not clean
The location of the property is outstanding. The beds were clean and that was where it ended. This house is in desperate need of some TLC and a thorough clean. The kitchen was so dirty, it was unusable. There were food scraps from previous visitors in the fridge which had gone off. The first thing we did, was vaccuum the floors and we had to use towels over the couches. The toilet seat is broken and the windows were so dusty, you couldn’t see out. It is a shame that this beautiful property has been let go. We feel with a thorough clean and a few small upgrades (like a new shower head and toilet seat), this property could be restored to its former glory. The balcony with its stunning views was the best feature.

Lovely home right situated directly across from amazing Geograph Bay
I spent the long weekend down at this property and had an amazing time. The property was right across the road from Geograph bay making it so easy to walk to and from the beach whenever we wanted. The property is situated in a great location close to shopping centres, the Busselton Jetty, the main town and a short drive to Dunsborough. The property has been very well maintained and had everything you would need for a week or two away!. We had no issues with the property and the owner was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Would 100% recommend this property for your stay in Busselton.
