« Really well appointed rooms with funky decor, great beds & funiture, and lovely bathrooms. They've done a great job of the hotel and grounds, and it's a great location in the village opposite the church. Easy access to nearby towns, the moors and the coastline. Would highly recommend. « Was initially given a room with partially completed maintenance and a door that did not lock. Had to move room which was much better. Overall the Grand Hotel needs some serious TLC and is currently not so grand. We wouldn’t consider it good value for money. »

« Our stay at the the bay was just what we needed,the apartment had every that we could possibly need and more welcome package was much appreciated, weather was lovely walk was good. The pub on site bit pricey but really nice to sit out. Would defiantly recommend and would book again for same apartment. »

« On arrival looked lovely but soon noticed cobwebs & spiders on bedroom walls near the windows. Dust behind the taps on the bathroom sink. The shower temperature is broken so it cant be adjusted. No hangers in the twin bedroom, only 5 hangers in the main wardrobe but wardrobes smell foisty. Pillows on all beds very thin & too soft (no spare pillows). Built in washer - cupboard door doesn't stay closed. To top it off in the twin bedroom, 1 bed had a brown mark on the top of the quilt cover! My son...

« Fabulous winter stay at The Cosy Retreat. A lovely apartment which was cosy and warm on a cold December week. The thermostat was easy to use and the place heated up so quickly. The apartment is a few minutes walk from the pub which serves food all day and also a few minutes walk from the swimming pool/sauna/steam room which we used every day.
