Welcome to Hill House Cabin located in the heart of the Wolf Laurel community, home to the Hatley Point Mountain Boutique & Ski Resort. Nestled amidst stunning mountain vistas, this charming cabin provides the perfect retreat for guests seeking both comfort and the natural beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The cabin features two spacious bedrooms with fine bed and bath linens for an indulgent, restful experience. On the main level, you’ll find a cozy Queen bedroom, while the loft area houses a luxurious King bed, offering privacy and tranquility. Both bedrooms are complemented by two full bathrooms, fully stocked with quality linens and essentials to make your stay feel like home.

Interested in healthier accommodations? Wonderful! We cater to those who can not tolerate typical cleaning chemicals and/or synthetic fragrance and welcome those searching for environmentally safer travel lodging. In order to maintain status, all guests must agree to participate in our synthetic scent free approach.

We strive to keep our home synthetic scent-free by cleaning with natural products (7th Generation) or (Water, Distilled Vinegar and Baking Soda) and avoiding chemical pesticides etc. as much as possible. We ask that guests refrain from using products containing synthetic scent while in residence.

This is a scent-free zone, meaning the cabin is not sprayed with fragrances or strong chemicals, and everything used in the space is natural. If you're chemically sensitive, this is the right spot for you! We kindly ask that guests refrain from using products containing synthetic scent while in residence. We do not allow the use of candles, air fresheners, invents, room sprays, strongly synthetically scented body care products, perfumes, colognes or any other type of synthetic products so that we can keep the space accessible for those with any types of sensitivities.

We ask that you not bring or use any of the products mentioned above while at our property. We ask you to kindly reserve elsewhere if this isn't possible.

You are reserving a luxury vacation cabin with Pristine Vacation Rentals, the top vacation rental company in the area with 100% customer satisfaction and five star reviews across the board from VRBO, Flipkey etc…A few days prior to your arrival you will receive the cabins address, check-in/check-out instructions, door entry codes, wifi codes, house and property information as well as local suggestions of things to experience. If you reserved the property directly from our website you will receive this information in an email. If reserved the property through a third party platform such as VRBO, Flip Key, etc... They will provide you with this information. When reserved through VRBO the information will be sent to you the message thread where you booked the property and received your reservation confirmation message as well. Please respect the neighbors and clean up after yourselves.

GUESTS ARE EMAILED CODE TO ACCESS, DRIVING DIRECTIONS AND INFORMATION REGARDING THE PROPERTY. PRIOR TO ARRIVAL, NO OFFICE VISIT TO PICK UP KEYS!

PHONE SERVICE: Cell phone reception is generally good, but it can be spotty at times. We are in the mountains.

CHILDREN: This house is not child-proofed for young children. There are also no accommodations for babies.

SUPPLIES: Groceries and supplies are available within 5 to 10 miles, but we suggest guests bring what they may need for immediate use so they can stay and relax on the property for their first meals, if so desired.

NO SMOKING POLICY due to guest and owner allergies. You will be charged an extra cleaning fee of $200 if you smoke inside the cabin. If you smoke outside please dispose of your cigarette butts properly.

The stay was awesome. We enjoyed ourselves immensely. The remoteness of the property gave us a feeling that we were the only ones there. Yet we had all the amenities one could ask for. The stay could have been better if there was a hot tub. Overall it was wonderful.

Nice property but advertised as pet friendly but ended up not being after booked. Then charged additional pet fee (charged 2 $150 pet fees) for 2 small dogs. Also do not have access to the pool and clubhouse like several of the other properties in the community do.

Lovely cabin for a relaxing getaway

We recently spent a restful long weekend at the Wolf Laurel cabin. We loved relaxing on the porch, enjoying the beautiful view, and reveling in the peace and quiet. The cabin was spotlessly clean, pleasantly decorated, and had everything we needed. In addition, there were scores of entertainment options (DVDs, games, puzzles) available. The beds and furniture, inside and out, were all very comfortable. We’re looking forward to a return visit!

Well organized home in the treetops

We much enjoyed our stay. This home was the most organized rental we have ever stayed in. There were labels on almost everything which I found helpful. The kitchen was well appointed and well stocked with anything you may need. We found it a bit challenging to find the actual home during check in at the gate we were told that we would receive a map and the person at the gate looked at us like we were nuts and said they don’t have any maps nor do they give directions. We were also told we would have access to the pool and riding stables….the riding stables no longer exist and pool information was kind of confusing, we did not have access to it but we did try to go but it was not open which was the opposite that was originally told to us. Just a few hiccups with our questions and given answers about the community in terms of what we had access to from the rental company. One other thing I would say about the property in terms of the actual home the master bedroom stairs are extremely steep so if you have any mobility issues, this is not the house for you. I don’t know that children or the elderly would be able to make it up those stairs either. Bottom line we thought the house is beautiful and we would definitely come back and I think in the fall it would just be spectacular as the back deck you feel like you’re in the tree tops.

Cabin at Mars Hill

Overall a great experience. Lovely cabin and the hosts are extremely responsive and helpful. I do recommend they people have a 4 wheel type car to maneuver the drive. If you are not familiar with the area it is daunting. Also more lighting near the cabin for arrival. Also the mattresses were overalls firm, actually hard.

We enjoyed our time at the Wolf Laurel neighborhood. Next time, I'll be sure to drive a 4x4 or rear-wheel vehicle. We loved sitting on the deck with the fire table lit, and the gas log fireplace was terrific. We'll also plan on hiking the trails in the neighborhood. Great vistas!

Beautiful cabin and views

Very cozy place. Nicely updated. Little tough to get to as there was a tree down on the main road. But thoroughly enjoyed the cabin non the less.
