Room too small. Would like at least one chair in the room. Bathroom door does not close. No hangers in the room. Overpriced. Apart from superb staff, everything else not to expectation

There was long black hair over the bathroom floor. I have short white hair. There were cobwebs and a large black spider around the window. No teaspoons to stir sugar in tea or coffee

Bathroom not in good condition. Plumbing issues caused bad smell in bathroom and bedroom. Bedroom was clean and beds comfortable. Food was good and reasonably priced.

Beautiful place to stay and experience
A marvellous hotel that feels like a little piece of England. The restaurant needs to get a special mention. The steaks were excellent, and the waiting staff while young, all had an excellent attitude and worked hard.

It was everything it was advertised to be at an affordable price. The various shared facilities such as the restaurant and main bar have so much character, we will be coming back again to enjoy a stay at this convenient location.

Lovely old hotel
This is an old hotel but the rooms are lovely. The location and setting are beautiful, with only a short stroll to the town. We booked a shared bathroom so were well aware that it was away from our room, but a little too far for us. The bathrooms although newly renovated, were not super clean. As we were travelling with cold food items we were able to use the communal kitchen, which was handy. Overall, we chose this hotel for its historic charm and we did enjoy.

I was really surprised at how nice this hotel is. For a hotel that is so old and priced so cheap everything is in really good condition and very clean. The rooms are decent sized, the beer garden and pool are a vibe and there are modern conveniences like QR code ordering to tables and rooms. The only thing I’d recommend is a firmer mattress next time they’re replaced. I wish we had more time there and hope we have another reason to visit.

The place is beautiful great staff and everything you need. Would be better if the rooms had aircon, but they did have fans. But still would go back.

Hi Sandeep,We are sorry to hear the towels supplied were not sufficient for your requirements. Had we been notified during your stay this is something we surely could have rectified. As for TVs in the rooms, we have found most guests travel with their own devices these days so we have focused our resources on other areas of the hotel. We do also have three communal guest lounges with TVs for the enjoyment of our inhouse guests.Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback.

Excellent property…my room No3 the vanity had a water teak and as you ran the vanity tap I found water at my feet and it was not from my overfilling or splashing. Also a TV would be great.

We have also noted your feedback regarding a TV, however as most guests travel with their own devices these days we have focused our resources on other areas of the hotel. We booked this lovely hotel and it met all of our needs. It was very clean and the staff were very friendly. Only downside is the train station across the road, the trains could keep some people awake.

A hotel room without a table or a desk!
The room is quite big but almost empty except 1 queen bed, 2 bedsides, 2 table lamps, 1 electric kettle and 1 mirror. I stayed 3 nights to work on my laptop all the time and felt a sore back because there is just no a table or a desk in the room at all, even though there is plenty space for a small table or a desk.

The Bundanoon Hotel has old world charm and character. It has been beautifully renovated and feels comfortable and warm, while experiencing a taste of the history of the place. We enjoyed our meal in the hotel, and the location which is very close to the shops and the National Park. A great place to stay.

A brilliant place to stay for a weekend getaway. The room we stayed in was big and had a beautifully renovated ensuite bathroom. It was nice and warm (maybe even too warm!). The doors are a little thin, so could hear everything that was happening in the corridor (but we are heavy sleepers, so wasn't disruptive during the night). The food in the hotel was absolutely incredible - some pub classics on the menu, but also some cracking unexpected dishes. Enjoyed a few hours sitting in front of the fire whilst we enjoyed a leisurely dinner and drinks. Would definitely recommend for a sneaky weekend getaway.
