We were a group of 4 women in town for a wedding. The house was as presented, and was a comfortable and convenient stay for all of us. Lots of extra space for other people, but two bathrooms for the four of us was ideal for us. Not five stars because there were some minor issues that really didnā€™t affect our stay, but Gordon was very responsive and open to our feedback for improvements for future guests. Lovely part of town with retail, restaurants and bars within walking distance or a short ride. It can get a little loud at night with some of the bars in the area, but weā€™d stay again if the opportunity arises.

Great location. The house was nice and well furnished. Just a couple of inconveniences to mention. There were painters when we arrived painting the front of the house. We had to walk on their tarp on the steps and under their ladder.The WiFi password was wrong on the email I received. It was a typo, which we figured out after a few minutes. There were two ceiling lights in the master bedroom that we could not figure out how to turn off the entire weekend. All of the light switches were were in weird locations, but we never found they one. Thankfully the lights were very dim so not a huge bother. As I said these were minor, and easily fixable.A girls weekend for the Allentown Art Festival that we thoroughly enjoyed. I would recommend!Judi

Great location to enjoy downtown Buffalo activities. House is well maintained and comfortable. Two full baths, one upstairs and one on the first floor. Note that third bedroom is a loft off the master bedroom accessed by a small spiral staircase - ok for kids but not so much for older adults. Overall we enjoyed the accommodations and felt safe in the neighborhood. The host was very responsive and accommodating.

Well Iā€™m afraid this was a mixed bag - we rented it for the 2 baths and the sleeps eight however the layout made it so it really only slept 6 because the solo room was a bunk bed for kids and the loft was actually IN the master along with what we thought was a 3rd bedroom with a futon but that was also in the master suite making it impossible for both to be used by another couple. The Living room and dining area were nice with plenty of seating a large tv, the kitchen needed some help - the fridge water dispenser did not work the soap dispenser in the sink was broken and the steps to the second floor were very steep. The neighborhood was extremely noisy especially on the weekend nights. Bars sleep

Modernized cozy home with 2 bedrooms and a cozy loft with beds in the master suite the grandchildren just fell in love with. The area has everything thing you could need within walking distance. Check-in and out was a breeze. Communication was amazing. Will stay there next time we are in town.

Good property right in Allentown. Pluses: very convenient and right in a busy part of town. Quick access to all that Buffalo has to offer. Negatives: Weird electric in the house, had to test all of the upstairs light switches before we could find the one that turned off a light in the master bedroom. Notable: It's right in Allentown and the nightlife is loud. If you're going to be there over a weekend, would recommend that you bring something for noise and/or a white noise app/machine. Street parking was generally pretty easy to find close to the house so it's not too bad if you have a car.

We had a nice stay! The house was easy to find, and check-in instructions were clear. The place is spacious, with comfortable areas to relax and a reasonably well-equipped kitchen. It was also very convenient to have a washer and dryer to use, and to have so many good restaurants nearby. There was quite a bit of noise at night, so if you are sensitive to noise, I would bring earplugs. The host was responsive and helpful!

We were 7 adults staying at 80 Mariner St in Allentown and found the house spacious and clean. The furniture can accommodate all 7 adults. It has a Price Rite grocery store, liquor/beer store, and restaurants at walking distance. Parking is on the street but you can get parking closer to the house at night. The loft overseeing the master bed did not pose any problems for us as we are all family. Note that the coffee maker is a percolator not a Keurig. Thank you to Nathan S for his review, it was very helpful in planning. A great big thank you to Gordon for having us. Would definitely stay again!

The house was clean and well stocked (much appreciated). Our main con is that "bedroom #3" is a loft overlooking the master, not a separate bedroom. To be clear, this is a 2-bedroom home. Also, the door to the master wouldn't close, which, combined with the loft issue, meant that there wasn't much privacy inside the home. Parents should recognize that this property is in a "party district" .. great for grabbing drinks and food .. bad for noise at late hours. It is a cool old house in a cool old part of town. We would stay here again, but would need to make sure that the vacation we plan matches the house. This was our first trip to Buffalo and we really like the City. This house is located within walking distance of a lot of neat and historic areas. Note that parking is on-street and there may be a need to park some distance away and walk.

Pros: Walkable to many eateries and bars, open concept kitchen/living area with enough space for our group, beds comfortable, relatively quiet neighborhood given proximity to nightlife, ability to do laundry :) Cons: unable to fully use living room TV due to missing remote (host very apologetic), no toaster, loose fixtures (downstairs bathroom door handle, tp holder, banister fixture); all of these easily fixable Not an easy fix: only access to upstairs bathroom is going entirely through the master bedroom Enjoyed our stay. What a lovely house! It was very cozy and home-like! Property owners left great recommendations for restaurants, market and sites to see! Check in and out could not have been easier. My only suggestion to others renting this property would be to pay attention to the parking and which side of the street you should be on. That's not even a complaint, just a helpful hint.
