Hôtel au top
Cette auberge de jeunesse en plein cœur de Budapest est très sympa. Propreté au top ! Avec petit déjeuner compris, c’est l’endroit parfait pour une nuit à Budapest

Très bien pour le prix
C'est une auberge très peu chère (même pour Budapest). Alors oui, on a déjà vu des auberges avec plus d'équipements, des matelas plus confortables, ou plus souvent nettoyée, MAIS dans l'enemble ça reste très bien pour le prix. Les dortoirs sont corrects avec des rideaux, des grands casiers individuels, même si couettes et matelas ne sont pas très épais. Les sanitaires en nombre suffisant. Il y a toujours quelqu'un à la réception, l'emplacement est pas trop mal (proche du centre, proche des bains, une station de métro/tram au pied...) et le petit-déjeuner est simple mais inclus. Deux très bons points : les impressions possibles à l'accueil (pour les billets d'avion...) et le wi-fi fonctionne parfaitement.

1 Night Stop/1 Nuit de Repos BUDAPEST-OKTOGON
Etablissement Recommandé, service de HAUTE qualité, apres le plus difficile reste la chaleur ecrasante de Vendredi 13/08 au soir et en dortoir meme avec un ventilateur, c'est assez deplaisant mais á accepter , le prix á payer ! (desole mais clavier magyar - hongrois) Petit Dejeuner de qualité au vu du prix dérisoire de la chambre, obligation de faire son propre service et de laver ses couverts et assiette donc logique ! Salle de bain et WC TOP, rien á dire, chambre dortoir sécurisé, entrée sécurisée, emplacement OKTOGON TOP - centre ville donc top ! Obligation padlock/cadenas pour fermer le box individuel, vendu sur place pour 3 euros ! Comme l'hostel est centre ville LA VIE a repris á Budapest donc il y a du monde le soir... JE RECOMMANDE ! TOP RELIABLE PLACE, extremely cheap AND BREAKFAST INCLUDED ! CLEAN - SECURED - HIGH QUALITY SERVICE ! Please stop by !

A renouveler sans aucune hésitation :)
Bonjour à tous, Le séjour s'est très bien passé. J'appréhendais au départ les dortoirs, être dérangé le soir et ne pas pouvoir dormir mais il y avait un respect de chacun pour ne pas déranger l'autre. J'ai aussi apprécié les rideaux qui permettaient à chacun d'avoir une intimité.

Le personnel était sympa mais la chambre n’était pas très propre. Le lit n’était pas confortable du tout.

Really good location, the guys running the hostel were great. Really fun time and they made it easy to meet people. There was a man snoring really badly, not sure about whether we could have done anything about this, but obviously not the hostel's fault. (When I say bad, I mean bad enough it stopped people sleeping and woke us up).

Great location
Great location within walking distance all places of interest. Breakfast was standard - bread with spreads, boiled eggs, cereal, salad with tea, coffee and cordial. The lift was small, old and creaky but it worked. Airport shuttle was great for EUR21 cash for three of us. We stayed in a private room which had it's own shared common area for cooking and eating. Lots of little cafes, fast food and small supermarkets were all within a block of the hostel.

Great Hostel
I stayed here for 3 nights. I arrived early on the Wednesday morning and there was no problem checking in. I was even shown to the room/bed. There was a toilet and shower in the room but option to use showers and toilets in corridor. These were really clean and cleaners were in there after each person in the morning. The room did get very warm so bare this in mind when it's warm. The free breakfast in the morning was a bonus. As was the drink and small dinner offer at night. Fridges on each floor for cold items and full kitchen to use. Staff were friendly. One of the better Hostels I've stayed in and would return.

Amazing stay amazing city
Perfect location, excellent staff all round, over 200 beds yet eveything was very well organised. Very Clean, enough toilets and showers, great breakfast included. Only one flaw was the outside noise, closing the windows eradicated the noise but then made the room uncomfortable with the heat so was a hard choice which to suffer with.

I stayed here many times and most the staff is always nice and friendly. Unfortunately I checked out with a receptionist who was maybe having a bad day.

Good hostel but not for more than a night
A big and lively hostel it seems. Receptionist was nice and clear and helpful. The rooms were towards the main road, and Budapest traffic can be rather noise with the tram passing by and other things. The beds were a little squeaky and wobbly but the in principle all was clean and well maintained. When going into the building, it looks a little rough and the elevator has seen better days.

Excellent Service, few points of improvement
The hostel offers spectacular service. The entire team was very kind and attentive, especially the general manager of the hotel. I had a small problem with one of my reservations and Daniel was very empathetic and offered to help and resolve the issue instantly. The receptionists are super quick at check in, some of them speak other languages such as English, Portuguese and Spanish and were always willing to help with any question. Breakfast is great and super reinforced, I would only include a vegetable milk option for vegans. In addition to breakfast, they offer free dinner with the purchase of 3 Euros worth of drinks. The kitchen is very well equipped, you can cook in peace. In some rooms they also offer small kitchens, which is awesome and keeps the main kitchen from getting too crowded. The hostel offers discount coupons for various tourism and wellness partners. Points for improvement: Cleanliness is good but not excellent. It's worth cleaning behind doors, bed furniture and inside closets. The only problem with some of the bathrooms (not all), are the plumbing systems, which are very old (I think it could be a structural problem in the building), so sometimes water accumulates in the shower stall and your feet are immersed in water, which is unhygienic. I also think that the hostel could invest in newer and whiter pillows, bed linen and bath towels, as you can see that everything is very old.

I definitely loved the location of the hostel, makes it easy to get anywhere. The stuff is really nice and helpfull, Samy and Ricardo were very attentive when i got there. I was traveling by myself and it made it easy to get to know people and have some fun 🤗 Only not so good part is that we were 8 in the room, which was full and only one bathroom, so it took forever to get ready in the morning 😅 I would recommend and also stay again here

Good solo stay
Great stay and good for solo travellers although many people were in groups when I stayed but probably just a bad time of year. Evie and Mateo were super kind and helpful throughout my stay, and great location. Showers weren't great, but there's lots of thermal baths in Budapest so not a crazy issue.

The Staff were very friendly. Kept up multiple cleaning procedures during the day. And the location is great! Its close to everything you need for a day or week stay. In the evenings you can go to the 1st floor kitchen and meet other guest and share your tine. I highly recommend this hostels among the others innthe area that i also stayed at.

Even though it was repaired quickly, and there were other toilets available on another floors, I understand that the situation was invonvenient, let us apologize for that!The building is a historical building indeed, this is the charme of this area of Budapest. Of course the hostel itself is modern and well maintenanced.

Very close to the metro station and easy to reach main sightseeing spots. Only one thing to be improved is response for the entrance bell. Sometimes anyone don’t open the door even when the staff is in the front.
