« No communication about how to get in until I asked so we were stuck outside for half an hour. It was freezing when we got in. Put the heating on straight away and it took about 5 hours to warm up as many of the windows need replacing and two of them are so broken they won't shut. The whole place has a cheap feel, bad bedding, not enough pillows, fridge noisy. I'm glad we only had one night booked. It was fairly clean. Lots of things offered on the website didn't exist, like printer or internet...

« The house was a good size but very tired and scruffy. Given the price, the furnishings should be in better shape...curtains half hanging off the rail, no shower curtain in the downstairs and master bath, and sofas that were old and needed replacing. The garden didn't look like it had been attended to for years. The check-in communication was not well-coordinated within the booking team. This could be a beautiful property if given the love and care needed. »

« Very lovely setting and garden in the mist of a sheep farm. Charming hosts. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return someday. Cutter's barn was most pleasant and we had everything that we needed for our holiday. Hostesses Duncan and Diane are most friendly, helpful, and happy to tell us about their sheep farm. Outdoor farm pet kitten Phill and sheep herder puppy Cox were very friendly. At night the stars were super bright and plentiful. »

« We have had a wonderful stay at The Old Rectory, beautiful house with wonderful facilities and the pool was amazing. Staff are all knowledgeable about local history and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the main hotel which was lovely and again we felt so well looked after. We highly recommend Hartwell House, beautiful old buildings with so much character and the grounds are spectacular. Thank you and hope we are lucky enough to return again. »

"TrĂšs bon rapport qualitĂ©s/prix situĂ© dans une zone avec des fast food ouvert jusqu’à trĂšs tard le soir et une station essence. Personnel trĂšs comprĂ©hensif (nous sommes français) et ils ont rĂ©ussi Ă  nous comprendre. Ils parlent mĂȘme un petit peu français. HĂŽtel propre, la chambre Ă©tait comme il le fallait. Un peu loin de Londres mais aucun problĂšme puisque la station de mĂ©tro la plus proche (Stanmore) est Ă  30minutes. Nous avons passons est un trĂšs bon sĂ©jours. Et surtout une trĂšs trĂšs bonne nuit, les lits Ă©taient trĂšs confortables. "
