« Peter and Jane are terrific hosts of a beautiful spot on the lake. We did all the things. We hiked Mt. Blue to the top. We peddled the boat out onto the lake. We watched the sunrise and sunset on the screened in porch. We made fires and roasted marshmallows. We had a terrifically beautiful family vacation at this perfect little cottage on the lake. »

« We enjoyed the cottage as it had everything we needed to prepare meals including pots and pans, spices, a lovely kitchen, towels and linens, shampoo and body wash in the shower. We loved the open concept and close proximity to downtown Bethel. The fenced-in yard was so convenient for the dogs. Hosts Adam and Suz were great, responsive and helpful. We would stay again! »

« We spent a couple of days here while visiting colleges in area. This was a convenient location, a comfortable cottage, and we really enjoyed sitting on the deck and looking out through the tree tops at the lake. »

« We just got back from our lovely stay in Maine! We chose this cottage specifically for the nearby lakes and the kayaks. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate, it was cold and rainy pretty much the whole time, but we did get out on the lake once. The kayaks are easy to use. Our host suggested we use a kayak cart to walk the kayaks to the water, but it was only a few houses down and my husband and I front and back carried them if you find that easier. « My family stayed here over labor day weekend. Very cute cabin with all the amenities of being at home. This was perfect as minimal packing is great with a 2 year old 10 year old. The kids loved the little beach and the views from the cabin were amazing. We enjoyed our stay and will likely go back again. »

« The Wee White Cottage is at the end of a private road. In October when we stayed we had the neighborhood mostly to ourselves. It was wonderfully quiet. The cottage is rustic but nicely decorated and had everything we needed. It felt like home. The lake is only steps away. If I had to use only one word to describe our stay it would be relaxing! »

« The property was gust what we wanted. Peaceful spot and well equipped and comfortable. The only short coming was the the kitchen equipment. We opted to buy some pans to allow proper meal preparation. »
