Our home is located in Zona Dorada, the “Golden Zone” of Bucerías, just a few miles north of the Puerto Vallarta airport and a short drive from downtown Puerto Vallarta. The vibe here is truly unique. People immediately notice the relaxed energy and friendly atmosphere, but it is something you only fully appreciate after spending time here.
We have always felt very safe in Bucerías. Like any destination, it is wise to stay aware of your surroundings and use normal precautions, especially when using ATMs or visiting busy tourist areas. In our experience, Bucerías itself has remained peaceful and welcoming.
The beach is only two blocks away — an easy walk. The first thing you will notice is how expansive it is: miles of soft white sand stretching along the Bay of Banderas. The bay offers calm water that is excellent for swimming, paddle boarding, and seasonal windsurfing.
We provide umbrellas, beach chairs, coolers, towels, and other beach essentials for your use.
If you enjoy golf, there are two excellent courses only a few miles away. For more adventurous travelers, the coastline offers countless tropical beaches, hiking opportunities, hidden coves, and day-trip destinations to explore.
Boutiques line the streets throughout Zona Dorada, and once you cross the famous “Kissing Bridge” into central Bucerías, you will discover lively bars, music venues, beach dining, and even more restaurants. There is always something happening here, day and night.
