This hotel is very close to the Bourse and only a few minutes walk from the Grande Place. It is ideally situated for anyone who wants to see the sites and is only about ten minutes or so walk from Brussels Central Station. We were warmly welcomed by the Receptionist who spoke very good English. He could not have been more helpful. The hotel has a lift and we were allocate a room on the fourth floor. Our bedroom was at the rear of the premises so was very quiet, even though the hotel is situated in the city centre. It was not large but adequate for our use. Everything was spotlessly clean. There was a shower room with a walk-in shower. We did not have breakfast as we wanted to get out to explore the sites.

Good hotel
It’s a decent hotel with good breakfast. The room was on the small side and a bit basic but nicely decorated. It had everything we needed. It is also very central, minutes away from Grote Markt.

On Hotels.com it says that airport shuttle was free and that was not true it cost us 50 Euro to get the hotel. The room was very small. The bathroom was very small absolutely no room on the sink to put a toothbrush. As people traveled outside in the hallway it sounded as if they were coming in the room. I could hear my neighbors flush the toilet. Not a good experience. I really didn’t like that the hotel shuttle as a lie. It was 50 euro both ways. Very disappointed.

Excellent location, mediocre hotel
The hotel is in an excellent location, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hallways need an update - the carpet is old and stained, but the room was clean. The shower was terribly designed - no door, and the floor was not sloped enough, so most of the water seeped out and would have gone under the bathroom door into the bedroom without a towel at entrance to shower. The soundproofing was dreadful, and there was lots of noise from the street throughout the night - definitely bring your ear plugs.

We were early to check in but the hotel let us carry our own bags downstairs to a little room until our room was ready. We came back later in the afternoon to check in. Told room was ready. Employee was again very nice enough to let us carry our heavy bags back up the stairs. When we got to our room we were greeted by food left from the previous guest. I am sure the olives, blueberries and dried up cake were good when fresh... There was a lovely two foot by 3 foot balcony facing the inner concrete courtyard. No need for an alarm clock at this hotel as the construction at 730 am primes you for the breakfast...that you can get anywhere away from the hotel. All in all the location was great....a few blocks from the hotel. Needless to stay, we will not be back, nor recommend this place. Cheers

The main plus of this hotel is the location, near the Grand Place so close to many attractions and restaurants. The hotel staffs are friendly and kind. The room is fairly clean, but I can feel the dust on the carpet (maybe it can be cleaned more thoroughly). The only thing bothered me was the noise from the club across the street, it almost always woke me up too early. Overall, nice experince.

Ok but not for extended stays...
stayed one night, bathroom was tiny, some holes in the carpet and the mattress was definitely old and saggy. needed a room in a pinch so I booked it, $200 a night is a bit pricey but its close to the town center so thats to be expected.

I enjoyed my stay here but this hotel needs a bit of a facelift. The walls in my room could use a good wipe or a paint job. Other than that it was clean and the hotel is very well located especially for the price point.

Wouldn’t go back
There was work being carried out at the hotel when we got there!!we couldn’t have breakfast in the place so they sent us across the street. When we were checking out they then advised us even though the room was booked for 2 people they had only priced us for 1 person getting their breakfast and that the other one should have been paying. They blamed Expedia on this. They also have held money on my card and even though I have paid the whole balance before I left this is still outstanding. This is not good enough and I won’t b using Expedia again or going anywhere near this hotel.

Good hotel close to Grand Place, bars etc. Staff at hotel really helpful. Room okay, at back of building over looking the fire escape, had no idea what the weather was like when we got up!! Bed bit hard for me but as only stayed one night so not a real issue

Disappointing
A lot of street noise all night - the worst I've ever experienced. Hotel room minuscule - the shower door only opened about half way as the handbasin was in the way! Restaurant was closed for refurbishment so had to go across the road to a cafe with a voucher that entitled you to only a very meagre breakfast. I shan't be staying there again.

Well located. Pleasant comfortable room.
Old section of Brussels is a wonderful area to stay. Plenty to do and see. Hotel was good value with pleasant staff.

It is an amazing hotel with amazing staff. They are so helpful with everything you ask of them. The only bad thing is that the hotel is to far away from the attractions of Rome. Public transport is very close to the hotel, but everything is far from it.

Smallest bathroom and no centa airconditioning!
The smallest bathroom ever and rooms with only central heating but no central airconditioning! They provide a stand fan but it is inadequate for the size of the room.

Nice place but no extra pillows and no AC. Nice staff. TV volume only goes up to 15 which makes it hard to hear.

Lovely hotel in a great location
My room was very comfortable - not huge but well appointed and with a lovely bathroom and full size bath. A good trade for a minibar any day.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night during our trip to Brussels. The hotel was in the perfect location: a less than ten minute walk to the Grand Place and dozens of cafes, stores, and chocolate shops. The room was clean and had two nice balconies which provided a nice view of the city. The hotel staff were all friendly and looked after our belongings when our room wasn't quite ready. There was no A/C in the room but there was a fan which cooled everything down to a comfortable temperature. Overall for the location (which was in my opinion perfect) and price I would certainly recommend this hotel to other travelers.
