With breathtaking views of Yellowrock and the Brokenback Mountain Ranges, Yellowrock Cottage is a spacious 3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom cottage on 13 hillside acres. Elevated and private, Yellowrock Cottage is a stylish country retreat, high on comfort, and perfectly positioned to enjoy the stunning scenery unique to the Hunter Valley region of Broke.

Yellowrock Cottage is 3km to the Broke Village, located within walking distance or bike ride of Mount Broke, Margan and Nightingale Cellar Doors and Restaurants, and conveniently located across the road for wedding guests celebrating at Adams Peak. Yellowrock Cottage is the ideal spot to soak in the best of Broke and its excellent wine trail. The cottage is just a short drive to the heart of Pokolbin's wine and tourist hub being a 19 min drive to the Hunter Valley Gardens and concert venues.

Guests will love hilltop position of Yellowrock Cottage, which takes full advantage of the dramatic landscape surrounding the property. The simple, open-plan design, with floor-to-ceiling glass doors takes full advantage of the grand views, and also creates a light-filled interior that flows effortlessly and opens onto the outside travertine paved, covered entertainment areas with BBQ and outdoor dining table. The country kitchen is perfect for making heart-warming meals and guests are welcome to garnish their creations with a handful of fresh herbs from the petite veggie patch.

Catering to all seasons, the cottage has central air-conditioning throughout (including bedrooms) for the warmer months, and central to the cottages living room is a wood-fired combustion stove, perfect for cosy nights, a glass of fine Hunter wine and fireside stories. The cosy TV nook lets you take in a movie or your favourite series on Netflix, or why not sign into your Apple TV account and download your choice of entertainment. Yellowrock Cottage is also the perfect mid-week retreat to work from, with Wi-Fi provided. You will also be able to take well-earned breaks at any of the nearby restaurants, cellar doors or cafes.

Yellowrock Cottage is ideal to stay with a small group of family or friends, fellow wedding guests or use it as a relaxed retreat. Find your peaceful corner to read by day, or enjoy the outdoor fire pit*, admiring the stars whilst enjoying your favourite local wine by night.

Mornings are a special time at Yellowrock Cottage for the very early risers as you may catch the passing hot air balloons. For those who like to sleep in, when you do wake, a brewed coffee on the Yellowrock table is the perfect way to start the day.

Beyond the cottage, guests can enjoy a leisurely nature walk alongside the boutique Chardonnay and Shiraz vineyard, down to the tree shaded little river and dam and back up the hillside to the special rock perch, ideal for meditation or photos with a picturesque backdrop. Escape to the newly installed hillside outdoor heated hot tub, with stunning views of the countryside and gently rolling mountains in the distance. Two gorgeous painted murals adorn the water tanks, showcasing the Hunter at its best and making for an Insta-worthy selfie spot!

Footage is private and remains the property of the owner, and will only be used for insurance liability reasons, to monitor occupancy and other policies noted in our Terms & Conditions. They, in no way, are there to infringe upon the expectation of privacy of guests in these exterior areas. To disable or obscure the cameras is prohibited and may result in loss of security deposit or eviction.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
A security deposit/bond of $800 is required for your stay and is payable as a credit card pre-authorisation. This will be processed approximately 24 - 48 hours before your arrival, so please ensure the funds are available at this time.

CATERING and IN HOUSE CHEFS: All in-house chefs and caterers to Yellowrock Cottage are exclusively provided and managed by our partners Hunter Concierge on-site.

NOTES
A 1-night stay may be accepted at discretion of Management within 14 days of the prospective arrival date. A surcharge is applicable on the 1-night stay, this will be calculated by our staff and quoted to you before the booking is confirmed.
Weekend Public Holiday, Easter, Christmas, and New Year periods require a minimum 3 night stay full weekend rate.

Concert and special event weekends in the Hunter Valley will have a set minimum night requirement to stay and may attract a surcharge.

Beautiful property with fantastic views out to the mountain ranges. Very comfy beds, brilliantly stocked kitchen. Particularly loved the hot tub under the stars!

House was absolutely lovely, nicely furnished with large spacious bedrooms and beautiful surroundings (the lemon and kumquat trees are amazing!). We loved our time at the house and will definitely visit again. The only very minor comment is that the windows and door frames could do with a quick clean but this is did not impact our stay.

The views, location and interior design of Yellow Rock are all stunning. Great outdoor and indoor space to hang out. We all had a great time, beds are super comfy too! Would highly recommend and would also love to go back there at some point :)
