The host management (TYCA) was defensive and unhelpful when issues were raised.We found live cockroaches. A major issue confirmed by previous reviews noting the host knew about the problem and had placed poison out. This is a severe health and hygiene failure.The house has multiple maintenance failures:• Interior stairs are dangerously steep with a loose tread.• A broken floorboard in the kitchen...

« I loved this little place…everything that was needed for 1-2 people. The host even put out little emergency supplies if you forgot your toothbrush, for example. It was walking distance to everything downtown but the restaurant directly across the street was so good I ate there twice. I would love to stay here again sometime. »

« We had a great 3-night stay. The house offered great river views and was walkable to two restaurants that we really enjoyed. House is walkable to a company where kayaks, canoes, and bikes can be rented. Communication with host was great. Would stay here again when in the area. »

« This is a fantastic property; perhaps the most well run, stocked, equipped, and prepared VRBO or the like that I've ever stayed in. House is extremely well kept and organized. The "recliners everywhere" approach to the living room is a bit hilarious, but no complaints! Very nice grounds, easy to get to, complete and clear communication from the host. Just lovely. »
