Hi LonnieSorry we were not present when you arrived. As a small inn we are not always able to have staff here beyond regular business hours. However, we do have 24 hour answering service that gets in touch with us immediately and we are, therefore, available to tackle any questions that may arise.It sounds like the parking was challenging for you. Guests can simply pull up in front of the building for free overnight parking (as long as you move your car by 10:00am). Additionally, we have off street parking directly behind our building and a spill over lot behind the adjacent building, that we try to clearly indicate on the parking map in your welcome packet and posted at the main desk and rear door.We do hope you return and that we actually get to meet you next time!

Sorry you had the climb to the third floor! As a small business, it is not possible for us to have staff on site at all times. We have someone here 7 days a week during regular business hours. We would have been happy to help you with your luggage. We do have two very nice rooms on the first floor, so hope you come again and reserve one of those.

Snap's Diner is usually open every day of the week for breakfast, perhaps they were having staffing problems (they had been looking for another chef recently). We are still feeling the repercussions of Covid with many of our restaurants in Vermont, I too hope they return to pre-covid hours soon!Hope that doesn't keep you away! All the Best,

Thanks for your review James. One of the few silver linings from COVID was creative ways to keep us all safe, and this check-in process continues to work very well! As a small inn we are not always able to be present for guests so this system continues to work very well. Glad you found everything to be comfortable and our central location in our cute, bustling town .
