Pleasant stay for 2 nights with the family. Hotel has charm but the rooms feel dated. The pool area was nice and the breakfast was great. Loved being located next to the botanical gardens, which was a great place for a morning walk. Close enough to the shops and a nice walk through the gardens to get over to South Bank. Overall, a nice stay.

Everything was amazing only let down was the air con in the room it was either on blasting and freezing or nothing at all - so we were up and down all night switching it on and down.

Great location, had a beautiful view of the park from our room. Staff was accommodating and allowed us to check in pretty early.

This was a great hotel for a short stay. Excellent location right beside the botanical gardens and short walk to great restaurants, shopping, pharmacies, etc. We arrived very early in the morning and they emailed us as soon as our room was ready, before official check in. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. Would have been nice to have a microwave in the room.

Staff are kind and helpful. The place is neat and tidy, and a good view at night. Shopping, post office and train station are all within 10 minutes distance.

The bed was so comfy.! The food for breakfast was wonderful and dinner was just a curb Everyone I interacted with was very kind of special in their own way very smiling, very gracious very humble I thoroughly enjoyed my stay for three days

Nice hotel, but a bit tired. Rooms seemed cleaned but in reality very dusty and things left behind by other guests were found. Check in was 1pm but room wasn’t ready until 1:45pm although front staff knew we had arrived since 10am. Baby cot was old and the sheet provided was not adequate.

Beautiful hotel, excellent staff who went above and beyond when my daughter was coming off a red eye flight the staff managed a quick turnaround on her room so that she was able to get some much needed sleep. The hotel is in a perfect location in the city with the botanic garden across the street and the river walk within easy walking distance as well as the city hall and shopping.

Loved this hotel and would stay here again in a heartbeat! Right across a quiet street from the park - walkable to downtown and lots of great restaurants nearby. Pool was a treat at the end of a long day sightseeing.

Beautiful location, close to many places of interests, close to the river, right oposit botanical garden. Nice swimming pool however sun beds could do with cushions. Staff welcome you by the door and always happy to help you. Hotel was equal to some of the 5 stars hotels if not better. Highly recommended.

Upset room was smelling of sewage fumes . No sleep and bad headaches from fumes. Needed to be refunded for stay but was not done when requested this. Expedia need to look into this and refund .

Great location next to the botanic gardens and walkable to the centre. Comfy beds. Bathroom was beautiful but quite small. It was a good stay, I’d stay again if the price was reasonable. It’s fine but not special.
