« Charmouth is a lovely small town and this cottage is the perfect way to experience it. The beach and fossil hunting were our favorite activity. The few shops and restaurantants were lovely...exactly the peaceful holiday I wanted for my family. »

« Purcombe Farmhouse is a gem. It provides comfortable and very well equipped accommodation, suitable for all ages - our family group were aged 66 down to 1yr and we all had a wonderful week there. Lovely gardens to explore and the hot tub was a definite plus later at night! This property is so peaceful and with stunning views, yet only a 10 minute drive from Bridport »

« The property is well furnished and very clean. It has all the equipment that is needed, and we were treated to a welcome gift which was lovely (no spoilers). It is very close to a general stores shop and a lovely fish & chip shop We enjoyed our stay and Bridport is a great place. »

« What a stunning cottage in the most beautiful area! And I cannot recommend Adrian and his daughter as hosts enough. The cottage was perfect for our family celebrations, had everything we needed, was very comfortable and clean with fans provided for the warmer nights too, bonus! Also noted heaps of extra blankets for colder months too, nice touch. And the views were beautiful! We were lucky to have full use of all the areas as we were the only guests, we chose the allocated farmhouse BBQ area...

« We had some difficulty checking in, but once that was resolved it was fine. Upside was lovely accommodation and friendly host Downside was (for us), too far away from public transport and narrow lanes. On a general note, price of all car parks in the area was too much. »

« Nice old world cottage. Well equipped, but lounge fire did not work and microwave turntable did not rotate. Very steep staircase with quite small steps meant care had to be taken, as with ducking through the low front door! Nice having a garden and views of horses in adjacent field. »

« We had an amazing time here. The barn is furnished to an excellent standard and there was no scrimping on the mod cons. We had everything we needed. The views were glorious and the little touches went a long way. Would absolutely recommend this property to all- excellent value for money. Stayed with my elderly father who is on palliative care and the one level, warm property made it easy to look after him. It’s in a central location for beaches and so many areas of beauty. Will definitely come...
