Châteaux à Bridgnorth

« Efficient and friendly staff, clean rooms with all the facilities you need. Evening meal and service was excellent couldn’t fault my stay would definitely recommend. »

« Although much about this property is dated, the warmth of its welcome, the high quality of its food, and the ease of parking (for £4 a day in the carpark across the road) make this a five star stay. »

« I love old fashioned, traditional pubs & inns, and this was perfect. Wooden beams, creaky floors, etc. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The meals were of high quality & decently priced, too, the breakfast exceptional! Plenty of parking available. I will definitely visit there again. »

« Nice place but the room I had was next door to a nightclub. Friday and Saturday night were really noisy. So much so that I asked to move rooms on the Saturday. To be fair this was not a problem for the staff who accommodated my request. Other than the noise late at night, no issues. »

« Good clean property, staff very friendly. Very accommodating for pet. »

« I very rarely post a bad review; I normally don't post a review at all if I haven't liked it. However, we booked The Croft based on the number of 5* reviews it had. On a positive, the location of this B&B is perfect - really close to the High Street. However, we've stayed in a lot of places, both higher and lower end, depending on our requirements, and I'm sorry to say that this is probably one of the worst places we've stayed at. The room and en-suite were possibly the smallest we've ever...

« Norma was absolutely wonderful, helpful and efficient. The accommodation was clean and tidy, shower was great. Breakfast was well varied and tasty. Evening meal was excellent. Bar and staff were good. Will be visiting again 😊 »

« Good size room, lovely breakfast with amazing views and friendly helpful staff »

« Lovely property to stay. Close to shops and town also on a bus route. The apartment was doubtlessly clean. Very comfortable beds. Would definitely stay again. »

« We were a group of 17 friends having a 4 night stay at The Rookery to celebrate a big birthday. The Rookery exceeded our expectations and was a perfect location for us. It is fitted out to a very high standard and extremely well equipped. We really couldn’t fault it and would highly recommend. »

« Really enjoyed our stay and the Staff were excellent, as was the food. Few little tweaks, some bedroom furniture such as a drawer unit and extra plug or two. Couldnt put the table lamp on without going under the table to unplug television or kettle. Overall really pleased with our stay and will definitely stay again next year. Partner missed her marmalade at breakfast not a disaster! »

« Overall this is a very pleasant comfortable cottage. Our one criticism, would be not enough crockery, why install a dishwasher when you need to wash after every meal. Surely having a dishwasher is so you can wash a large load in one go, thus saving water, and energy.A few more different size plates would be useful.Otherwise very satisfied, lovely and quiet patio, comfortable bed and seating. »

« We have had a great week staying at Kingfisher Cottage; 12 people, 3 generations. The facilities were excellent. It was so nice to stay in a cottage with good quality pots and pans! We enjoyed all the walks from the cottage as well as the playing field, where our 92yr old grandpa was in goal and our 88yr old Nan Nan kicked the ball around. We loved the view from the side garden overlooking the reservoir, the table tennis table, the outdoor seating, lounge chairs and tables, as well as inside,...
