Stunning 4 BR Home w/ Hot Tub, Tranquil Setting!

Summary:
You will adore this idyllic home with its private hot tub and location among the trees in a peaceful locale, still just minutes from Breckenridge. Near scenic hiking trails AND town, this 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom home offers up space, style and comfort while serving as an ideal retreat from which you can base all of your Rocky Mountain adventures. Head to the Spruce Creek Trailhead and hike to Continental Falls, or make your way to historic Main Street and explore - both are minutes away!

The Space:
Enter into this fabulous home and find a dedicated entry/mudroom awaiting for your convenience. Stocked with ample hooks, a bench, a mirror, a storage cabinet, and plenty of space to drop your gear, you will find it easy to make yourself at home in this space. If you find it is needed after a day of adventure, you can also continue straight from here to the laundry area, equipped with a washer and dryer.

Make your way into the spacious kitchen, which boasts a large over-the-sink window, abundant cabinet and counter space, and an attached dining area that can seat up to eight. You will find a large, stainless steel refrigerator and appliances from a coffee maker to a blender and toaster waiting for your use. Whip up a favorite meal and then dig in, the lovely dining room while taking in the views of the pines thanks to a large bay window that brings in natural light.

The chef in your group will be delighted to find that the kitchen is open to the spacious living room, making it easy to stay connected to your loved ones even as you grab a snack or tackle a new or favorite recipe. Once in the living room, you can kick back and relax on the roomy, leather sectional, warm up by the fire and take in a show on the large, flat-screen TV. A stylish and updated bathroom with a single-sink vanity and a tiled, walk-in shower with a glass door is located off of the living room/kitchen for easy access.

Off of the central living space, there are four fantastic bedrooms. The master suite boasts a king-size bed, matching nightstands and lamps, a dresser, a large, walk-in closet, and an en suite bathroom. Fully remodeled, the master bathroom features tile floors, a modern and stylish single-sink vanity, and a fully-tiled shower/tub combo.

Near the master is a charming bunk room that the younger set will love with its pine twin-over-twin bunk bed, fresh white linens, and nightstand and lamp that comes stocked with books and puzzles. Across the living room, you will find two more bedrooms, each furnished with a queen-size bed, nightstand, and lamp, clean, white linens, and a serene color palette that will make it easy to drift off for a restful night’s sleep.

This gorgeous home offers up two outdoor spaces that highlight its beautiful location. The first is a deck area off of the living room with patio seating so that you can settle in and take in the pines or do some stargazing while you enjoy the refreshing mountain air. The second is a roomy patio area off of the entrance to the home that boasts a propane BBQ grill and a private hot tub that can accommodate eight. Here in this outdoor oasis, you can fire up the grill or soak your cares away, all while basking in the abundant beauty that surrounds you.

Guests will have access to the entire home and outdoor spaces, including the deck with private hot tub, and parking for three vehicles in the driveway.

The Neighborhood:
This home has an incredible location, offering up all of the serenity of the mountains while keeping you within a short drive to Breckenridge and all that it has to offer. Hike the Crystal Lakes or Spruce Creek Trail - which takes you to Continental Falls and Mohawk Lake - from the trailheads found just 5 minutes from this home. Or make the 6-minute drive into town and explore Main Street, with its myriad shopping and dining options. In the winter months, you can hit the slopes at Breckenridge Ski Resort - less than 15 minutes away from this stunning home.

Getting Around:
Despite its tranquil location, this home is just minutes from Breckenridge. Main Street is a 6-minute drive and from there you can hop on the FREE Main Street Trolley to explore the endless breweries, cafes, galleries, museums, and shops that await there. You are also just minutes (.3 miles) from the Rustic Terrace bus stop on the FREE Summit Stage Bus Blue River Commuter and Park County Commuter lines. Uber/Lyft are also always available.

Please note that, like most homes in Breckenridge, this home does not have A/C.

Please note that the home is near the highway and guests may sometimes hear traffic noise. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

4-wheel drive or 2-wheel drive tires with snow chains may be necessary for safe travel to this property, even if it hasn’t snowed in a few days.

Great place

Keep in mind this is a 4 bedroom with 2 bathrooms, one of which is in the Master Bedroom. That was a little tricky with 3 adult couples. Overall, the place was really nice, great location in relation to Breckenridge. It is close to the highway, loud road noise at night. Floor plan was nice and worked well for us. Really nice trail and creek super close to the property.

Perfect House & Great Location

Our family of four had the best summer stay at this property. We enjoyed the “out of town” feel while also being a five minute drive to downtown Breckenridge. House has everything you need
we used the hot tub in the evenings once the temps cooled down and enjoyed grilling on the BBQ a few nights. It was also nice to have all the board games on hand for our kids. Great trip

Terrible Communication & Not as Described

The communication from this host was beyond terrible. First, this house is not in a "Tranquil Setting". The pictures are very carefully taken to hide the major road just 20 yards from the property (car noise all night long), and the several other houses within 15-20 yards. The neighbors were great, and we had zero issues with them. Upon arrival we noticed the hot tub wasn't working, and I tried to contact the property management company. They finally responded that the hot tub was broken and not available. This would have been nice to know prior to arrival, considering this was a selling point for the property. The management company said they would like to compensate us for the lack of communication and broken hot tub (they admitted to poor communication and apologized). After this, the management company went radio silent. I called several times, left voicemails, and emailed. Still no response. In addition to this frustration, I also had to buy a propane tank because the one at the property was empty. Overall, this was a very frustrating experience. I would not recommend staying with Local VR.

Great stay

We enjoyed renting this cabin. It was nice, clean, and perfect for our stay. We loved that it was outside of town, but still within 10 minutes of Breckinridge. In the morning we would see deer around the cabin.
