We stayed 5 nights at this property as a family that travels often, and Iâm comparing this stay to others we've had in recent years.
The property is beautiful. We loved the cafĂ© on the second floor â the barista was kind, the coffee was great, and the breakfast sandwich was our favorite. I especially enjoyed my daily cappuccino!
Most front desk staff were friendly and responsive. However, one staff member seemed disengaged. For example, I had confirmed the Pickleball courts were open until 11 PM, but when I came to play at 9:50, he told me I only had 10 minutes. Only after I mentioned my earlier conversation did he give me the rackets.
The hotel could use more staff. Dining service was slow, and housekeeping was minimal â mostly towel changes. Beds werenât always made, and the room wasnât thoroughly cleaned daily.
Still, Iâm giving a full star rating because of the location and the overall beauty of the property. With a few improvements, this could easily be a five-star experience.
