« Overall, the property has been updated nicely with comfortable beds, decor, furniture and fixtures. Note, the lobby and entire front of the building smelled like marijuana all evening. Our room was not ready at check-in, but we were easily transferred to a different room. Sadly, there was no toilet paper, no towels and no handsoap. Staff apologized and replenished. « Great modern vibe and the lake view was as pictured. It snowed one of the nights and I flet like we were in a snow globe. Nice amenities with friendly staff and owner. Looks like the beach area is nice with 2 large shared bonfire pits. Highly recommend!! I will be back. »

« Super nice and simple room. Perfect for the simple town! Parking was easy and not far from the entrance. Lots of little shops, but we were there during Easter so not much of it was open. We were able to check out Cuyuna Brewing and Iron Range Eatery. Both good and friendly. Didn’t have to communicate with the staff during our stay. »

« HOT TUB didn't even WORK, was OUT OF ORDER, as was the only ONE ice machine for the WHOLE HOTEL!! Management wouldn't refund 2nd night of stay, had to leave due to ice storm and conference calcellation!! Will NEVER stay there AGAIN!! »
