Great Family Stay

This condo was great for our family vacation. We were there celebrating my parents 50th anniversary and the condo and location were a good fit. We liked the location right on the beach and appreciated the free island trolley bus stop right out front. There were a few issues that were promptly taken care of by the property management and communication with them was excellent.

Enjoyed our stay

Made a quick trip down to Bradenton Beach. The views from the back porch were amazing (especially at Sunset). My family and I would come back for another stay here. Only downside was the AC not getting cold enough. However, there are ceiling fans in some of the bedrooms. The master does not have a ceiling fan but AMI provides box fans located in the closet if you need extra air.

Peaceful retreat

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful co do. The location and size were both perfect for our family of 9! We hope to stay again next year. There were only a few issues with cleanliness, but after we took a little time to tend to it, all was good. It seemed like there may have been so areas that might have been overlooked from the guests before us.

Not a VIP luxury penthouse experience!

Stayed here for a week August 2021. The penthouse is large, on a beautiful beach and has potential. However, it is in terrible condition & is not a luxury experience. For the ridiculous price we paid for the week, we had high expectations (we also travel extensively around the world so not our first VRBO or rental experience). I couldn’t believe how many issues we had but here’s a list: 1. The screen door is ripped. Maintenance came by to duct tape it but it blew open in 2 minutes. Forget enjoying the patio in the evening, as mosquitoes will carry you away. 2. The screen door will not stay latched shut. 3. The main stove burner is broken, which they know as a sticker saying it’s inoperable and not to use. But seriously? This should be fixed immediately! 4. The tile floors needs scrubbed. The grout in the entryway is black & while I know they were cleaned before we got here, we could not walk barefoot, as it’s so dirty, our feet were black in 5 mins. 5. The 2 beach chairs left for guest use are completely rusted, which has stained the beach towels and our clothes. Also, the zero gravity chair is broken, missing a bolt. The umbrella doesn’t latch down so will fly away because you can’t lock it. 6. Two bar stools are broken. The broken support bar was sitting on the seat when we arrived. 7. One of the cabinet latches is broken (next to the wine cooler), almost slammed into my head as I was putting away groceries. 8. My son found a used bottle of lavender “personal massage oil” in the side drawer in the master bathroom. 🤢 obviously the cleaning staff is not doing a great job during a global pandemic if that was left there? 9. The remotes need batteries changed as they don’t work half the time. Unless super close to the TV. 10. The main couch is STILL broken. This was noted in feedback on VRBO back in May. Still broke. Really uncomfortable to sit on! We had to prop books under it to avoid rolling off the couch. 11. Main blind in the master won’t roll up. Maintenance tied it up so we could see the ocean and we had to use the blackout curtains at night since we couldn’t lower it. 12. The master bathroom shower ceiling is covered in black mould!! We had maintenance out twice to try to fix some items but it was just too much. His attitude was “can’t fix that or that or that.” Would NOT recommend this condo at all, plenty of nicer places in AMI. We are so disappointed, as we wasted a ton of money on this place & it was such a letdown.

I liked the penthouse, but the doors don't lock to the bathrooms, and with 5 kids, locks are appreciated! The beach was a little more busy than I like, but the house had everything we needed.

Definitely the Penthouse!

We had an excellent experience with the property. The views and accomodations are as described. Spent days on the beach out back. Loved the private elevator to the private garage. Make groceries so easy! And where to put groceries? Wow! Double higher fridges, Wine cooler, double freezer drawers, and on and on. The unit must be built like a tank as well - on of our nights was spent during Tropical Storm Elsa and unless you went outside, you wouldn't have even known a storm was going on. Porch fantastic for sitting and listening to the Ocean. The only small item we had during our visit was getting the HVAC unit to keep up. The thermostat was never set below 72 and during the day it would loose ground to the temp. We turned off a few times to give the unit time to rest. We also called service to come check it out. The AMV team was very prompt in this and getting someone out. Once the Sun went down, no problem, everything cooled off appropriately for sleeping. Maybe the unit just needs a shot of freon, but overall, no big deal. One of our travelers, Papa said he was quite comfortable throughout. Of course he wears a light sweater in the Summers! We mentioned this again to AMV on the way out.

New York Meets The Beach

We loved the view and the screened in porch. The condo was well equipped. The master suite is huge with a separate entrance, office with a futon and another single bedroom. The master bathroom/closet was very nice and the shower was a dream. There were six of us and we had plenty of room The only downside was the sofa was broken, therefore, hard to sit on and it would have been nice to have ceilings fans. The rental company gave us keys and a garage remote that did not work on anything. So it was a wasted trip to the rental office to pick up and drop off. The garage is huge and held two suvs with no problem. We would definitely rent again.
