Nice for a business stay in Bracknell
Excellent standard at this hotel, located in the centre of Bracknell near a shopping area. Facilities were nice, with a decently sized room. Bar staff was very nice and offered to assist while restaurant staff was very busy. Overall satisfied by the service at this hotel.

We wanted a location close to the town centre and you can't get much closer than this. We were also fortunate to get free parking in one of the few spaces just outside the main entrance although I believe there is convenient and reasonably priced parking nearby. Whilst not very modern, the hotel was in good repair, clean and tidy throughout and the staff were unfailingly cheerful, helpful and a genuine pleasure ... made us feel welcome. We didn't ask for or expect much and perhaps with a bit of probing cracks would appear but for what we wanted we really couldn't fault it.

Very comfortable superior twin room and friendly helpful staff. Having more than one type of tea to drink was a nice treat and I enjoyed having camomile late in the night.

We stayed here last year and came back because we liked our stay very much. However this time we were told for the 5 of us staying in 2 rooms that we had to pay extra for breakfast!! Also we wouldnt be refunded for our car park ticket as we were before. This hotel is already more expensive than most and this made our stay just an expensive bed for the night.

Very tired, i upgraded to a better room, but the standard was poor and the room was tired. The bed was made of wood and was very hard, the overal decor was tired. It was clean and service was fine. Wouldn't stay again.

Grange Hotel, Bracknell
It was not my choice to stay at the Grange; my preference is smaller, personable, more reasonably priced places, but this was supposedly the only place booking.com could find us when previous bookings elsewhere fell through! The hotel was fine, reasonably comfortable etc, but the breakfast charges were way overpriced and after reading mixed reviews as to quality and quantity of them from other guests, I decided not to & make own arrangements. The decor was a bit dated but not unpleasant. The room was clean, tidy, & spacious, but there was a disappointing lack of cool drinking water available from the cold taps, which ran warm all the time & tasted disgusting! The 500ml bottles of water in the mini bar were similarly overpriced along with everything else so had to resort to buying bottles of water from outside! The parking was also in the multi-storey next door & also similarly expensive; the hotel did not offer any validation as it was “not on my tariff!” Some people may like staying in overpriced tower blocks but me. I doubt I shall return to a place such as that! I will give a “shout out” to the very helpful night staff in the early hours of Saturday morning who came to my dehydrated rescue with a bottle of complimentary water from the bar and a pint glass of ice!

Good stay at the hotel but the bar service was not so good. Ordered Irish coffees and they came back with bad cream in them they bought just plain coffee in the end with some whiskey but still charged us

Great Place to Stay
This is a great hotel with restaurant and bar facilities and even gym. and a whole host of restaurants and bars/pubs and shops on your doorstep. My room was lovely and comfortable. The only negative side to this stay is the musty smell in the bedroom as the window had not been opened for ages. Would definately consider staying there again due to location and surrounding amineties.

The staff went out of their way to look after my daughter and grandson, including a free upgrade to an apartment with a kitchen as my grandson is on a special diet. And helped them move (with a large amount of baggage) between rooms. Somewhat disappointed that a special order for him, before the move, of 3 steamed chicken breasts and lettuce cost 50 GBP. However, they subsequently reduce this to about 28 GBP. Overall, I would recommend this place.

If there is space, you can park your car for free in one of the six parking spaces directly outside hotel entrance. Access to the town centre shops, restaurants and bars is literally less than 2minutes. There is also a really ice rooftop bar at the hotel. The red leather sofa and chairs in lounge are really uncomfortable though so sit outside in terrace, weather permitting. Whenever we visit family we always choose to stay at the Grange and will continue to do so as its the best hotel location and quality in the town centre. Also, I have always found staff to be very polite, helpful and professional.
