Luxe Walloon Lake maison de sept chambres!

Il s'agit d'une maison historique en bois rond qui a Ă©tĂ© entiĂšrement rĂ©novĂ©e et offre 4 800 pieds carrĂ©s d'espace de vie. Il y a sept chambres, quatre salles de bain complĂštes et deux salles de bain et demi. Un grand plan d'Ă©tage ouvert englobe le premier Ă©tage, avec un vaste espace salon avec une cheminĂ©e. Les grandes fenĂȘtres offrent une vue imprenable sur le lac wallon historique. La grande cuisine gastronomique est Ă©quipĂ©e de tout le nĂ©cessaire. L'espace de vie ouvert mĂšne Ă  un grand patio, parfait pour se dĂ©tendre et regarder les couchers de soleil notoires du lac wallon.

La chambre principale est au premier Ă©tage avec un lit king size et une salle de bain attenante avec une grande baignoire, une douche Ă  l'italienne et une double vasque. PassĂ© le maĂźtre au premier Ă©tage se trouve un autre salon avec un bar, une demi-baignoire et de nombreux siĂšges pour se dĂ©tendre et regarder la tĂ©lĂ©vision. À l'Ă©tage, il y a six autres chambres et trois salles de bain complĂštes.

Cette maison est un peu passée Walloon Lake Village. Il est parfaitement situé pour se rendre à Boyne City ou à Petoskey. La plage est plate et sablonneuse. Il y a un quai pour garer votre bateau, ou en louer un dans les locations de bateaux du village wallon local. Cùble et wi-fi sont inclus.

Fabulous Family Getaway

With 3 adult children and their +1, we had plenty of room and access to great activities. Of course Walloon Lake is gorgeous, but the house itself is beautifully landscaped, equipped with more than expected, and oh so comfortable. We didn’t even have enough time to get into tennis or pickle ball, but appreciated the bikes and paddle boards and hammock and grille and so many great things that made our trip easy and fun. Great proximity to town, and easy travel to Charlevoix, Petoskey and more. Definitely will try to stay here again!

Great family home - Spectacular views!

If you are looking for the perfect family home (plenty of space) and some of the best views of Walloon Lake...this is the place to pick. I didn't expect it, but the kids had the most fun on the tennis/basketball court. Was a great addition to the vacation. Would highly recommend this as a rental to anyone wanting to stay near Petoskey/Boyne City. The moment you enter the driveway and into the front door, you'll be in heaven!

Very nice stay!

We really enjoyed staying at Bear Lodge. Great location and a nice sized house for a family ski trip. Do note that there is not a TV in the main open space which most of us minus the college aged kiddos cared about; fortunately there is a TV room with a bar to make up for it... :-) Only other consideration is there is no freezer in the kitchen, but fortunately there is a decent sized one in the garage. Many bedrooms with Jack and Jill style bathrooms upstairs and a very sizeable master on the main level. Megan was extremely responsive and helpful; especially when a few folks left things behind.

Bear Lodge Ski Weekend

Four couples stayed at Bear Lodge for a long ski weekend. Pros: The house is large, in a beautiful location, and not far from our ski, spa, and shopping adventures. The kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of firewood available. Cons: House is in need of heating repairs, having to strip the beds and start laundry when a substantial cleaning fee is collected, and lack of communication/response during and post our stay. When we arrived, we noticed that the laundry room temperature (entry way) was very cold, which made the kitchen very cold, as well. I emailed Kidd and Leavy about it but did not hear back. The second evening, we noticed the master bed and bathroom were also cold and remained that way all weekend. I emailed Kidd an Leavy again (on Saturday) about the master bed and bath and called the maintenance number I was given. No response. We did not hear back from anyone the rest of the weekend. The master bedroom, master bath, kitchen, and laundry room remained very cold and uncomfortable. I received a response from Megan the day after we arrived home, to which she stated that she does not check her voicemail on the weekends, which is why she left her business card with a cell phone number. To be honest, we thought the cards were left as an advertisement and did not give them a thought. There was no note telling us to call a cell number if we had issues. I used the information in the communication I received during my booking and prior to arrival. I responded to her email about this and questioned when I would see the credit for the security deposit. No response. Four days later I forwarded that email again to Megan asking if she received it. No response. I called a week later and left a message for Wally and have yet to hear back from him. Due to selective communication, we will hesitate to rent a house/villa if Kidd and Leavy is the rental company.

$2 Million Dollar Fixer Upper

This is an amazing property on a beautiful lake it is a shame that the owner has decided to not perform routine maintenance. They should not be able to demand premium rent with zero up-keep inside the house. If they spend half as much time on the inside as they do the beautiful gardens, this place would be a gem! There is duct tape everywhere: 1. Holding the dryer door closed 2. Holding the floor molding in place 3. Holding the umbrella from full collapse (safety issue #1) 4. Holding the room thresholds in place. There are also several safety issues: 1. The umbrella noted above 2. Several broken ceramic tiles in the entry way 3. The glass shower door in the master bath is not seated correctly and chipping into the shower. Other neglected maintenance issues: 1. Torn carpeting in several places 2. Missing handles on a kitchen drawer 3. Torn seat on a bar stool 4. Non-functioning fridge in the back room 5. ANTS EVERYWHERE in the kitchen 6. Empty beer cans under the couch found We raised these issues with the management company and were told that the owner is not willing to make the necessary changes. I am happy to pay top dollar for a quality property. This was an embarrassment.

Family preXmas stay

This house is spectacular and is a perfect place for a multi-family stay. There are basically 2 master suites and the rest of the bedrooms are large and well laid out with clever Jack-n-Jill bathroom arrangements that are perfect for families. The great room is truly *great* with a beautiful , unobstructed view of the lake, and the kitchen is nice and well stocked. We had a couple of questions which the property manager responded to immediately. We were there in the winter but would love to come back in the summer - it's really an awesome place.

This home was the perfect place for our fall weekend reunion. The house is maintained at the highest level and it is very clean and comfortable. The house is exactly as described in the listing. Everyone enjoyed themselves and we hope to return.

Beautiful Home

We had planned for a bigger crowd and with a few cancellations, everyone ended up mostly getting their own room in this very large place. We had a great stay. We couldn't find a freezer in the house but plenty of ice from the two ice makers. We also had to stop and get a bunch of firewood but I think that was an oversight that could have been corrected if we had called.

Beautiful and spacious

My friends and I were in town for a wedding and this place was absolutely perfect. Plenty of shared space, but also private space to spread out. Wish we could have stayed longer, the place was fabulous. 10am check out was a little earlier than we're used to.
