« The staff are fantastic. I notified a member of the bar staff that we had a booking and he got me checked in immediately, sorted our keys out for us and showed me the room. He gave me good detail about the hotel and the fire exits, door keys etc. The rooms are separated from the pub by a locked door that you're given a key for. This is very reassuring and secure. The pub itself was quiet before too late so getting to sleep was easy. The fan in the room was very much appreciated as we stayed...

« The room itself was clean but noisy as it faced the main road. The worst was the bathroom. It was so disgusting that I couldn't bear to have a shower or even touch the bathtub! We paid £158 for 2 nights and were horrified. For the cost of one nights stay they could easily afford to regroup the tiles and clean whatever the indescribable muck everywhere! Inexcusable for what they charged. In my younger day, student hostels were cleaner than this. Shame shame shame! 2 stars were for the staff ,...

« Nice comfortable double. The room was a good temperature throughout the stay. If known was going to be placed in a room facing the road would have brought earplugs as I am not used to traffic. Reception was very helpful and quick check in made sure that my car was in sight of the security cameras. Happy to use this hotel again. »
