Needed improvement in staffing.
The property are clean and comfort. Location is quiet and nor very far (driving) to main shopping center. However my check in had been eventful, firstly as there was no staff manning the reception, I needed to call a central location for access to keys, then the keys was unfitted to the doors. Although it is under Covid 19 period, however, communication needed to be improved as well as ensure keys are fitted for the unit's door locks.

Es war dreckig und es hatte überall Ameisen. Das Türschloss zum Schlafzimmer war defekt, die Türe konnte nicht einmal geschlossen, vergessen noch abgeschlossen werden.

Great for Family Trip with 4yr and 1.5 yr old.
We had a great time at this place. Staff are friendly and courteous. Checkin and out was a breeze. The rooms and pool are nice and clean.

Only needed a bed for a couple of nights so was acceptable but beware of the ladder if you have young kids accessing the single beds. All basic needs meet

Fine print issues.
The room was sufficient overall. We had a faulty air con on the first night, which was difficult due to very high temps. It was repaired on the first request next day. The grill on the old oven heats the knobs so that you burn your fingers, but you figure that out quick enough. There was a fine film of dust on table and bench, but this is to be expected when the windows are open in Boulder. The back door requires jiggling to close properly and the screen door doesn't lock. The room was central to my needs during the sray. The fine print issue and the reason for 1 out of 5 for Quality of Hotel Service; when I made the 6 night booking it was clearly stated that I would pay on arrival, however, DHP Boulder immediately took half of the total. I made contact straight away through hotels.com (the number on the app for the park was incorrect) to be advised that it was their policy to take half payment up front regardless of the clear statement to pay on arrival at the time of booking. I have strongly suggested that this small print issue be corrected.

Stayed in studio apartment not a chalet. Excellent apartment with full amenities, close to Boulder township, quiet despite being near entrance to campground.

Family friendly
The a-frame cabin was a real novelty for the kids! The room was just what we needed for our road trip- simple, clean & comfortable. Kids enjoyed the pool area & there was plenty of room to wander and play outside. The staff were very friendly & helpful also. We would stay stay here again for sure :) Perfect for a family of 5, would easily sleep a 6th. Nb- top level not suitable for young children. ( our youngest was 6 so I'm for us)

The staff were friendly and kindly offered us an upgrade to a larger unit at no cost when the one we had booked online proved to be too small. This was comfortable. However, the shower taps made an awful noise. Despite that everything else was good.

Peaceful night's sleep
The chalet we stayed in was so complete and home from home. The presentation was excellent and the facilities had all our needs. There were 4 guests and we all had the same opinion. Top marks to your staff who look after the chalets.

Super Pit
Fantastic apartment! Newly renovated bathroom and kitchen felt like we were the first to use this and for a holiday park this felt like a 4-5 star accommodation that you would find in the city! Could only imagine the rest of the cabins were the same. Perhaps a little far from Kalgoolie town but literally down the road from the gold mine super pit public lookout. A must see!

1 night stop over, on a bike tour
There was 4 of us on a motorbike tour and Kalgoorlie was our first stop, so we booked a cabin at the discovery holiday park because it had every thing we needed this was our second stay at the park and wont be the last. the next morning we all jumped up and with a hangover packed our bikes up and hit the road to our next destination and when i stopped to get fuel 200ks later i had a missed call from the reception so i called back and i was told that the cleaners had found my $500.00 watch in the room and that it would be posted out to my home ASAP OMG i was so impressed where does that happen anywhere, that was on Sunday and I've just got home and the watch arrived toady (Tuesday) all boxed up and wrapped in bubble wrap, so impressed. thank you so much. we go touring a lot and this is the only place i will stay when i'm in the area. A BIG THANKS FROM ME.....
