Important things to note:
The apartment is located in a neighborhood with a mix of industrial and residential properties. The streets can get busy at times. There are a few homeless people nearby that wander the streets at night. Kindly read up on the neighborhood so you are more acquainted with it and know what to expect.
For added peace of mind, the property is equipped with a security camera system, ensuring the safety and security of all guests during their stay.
There are 3 CCTVs in the building, 1 located along the hallway, 1 located on the main building door, and 1 located on the back porch (for parking). All of them are recording 24/7 and for security purposes. There is no camera in any private areas or inside bedroom, only in the common areas.
Safety and Reservation Details We care about our guests’ safety, which is why we’ve instituted some safety checks - we have other units in the building and we want to make sure it’s a safe place for everyone that stays with us.
For everyone's safety, this unit has a built-in noise and smoke monitoring system that sends us an email notification if any loud noise or smoking is detected. A building fine of $1,000 per incident will be passed on to guests once detected.

The apartment was large and clean. It was not fancy but very adequate. The check in was seamless. The neighborhood was a bit too industrial for me. It was difficult to walk anywhere.

The apartment itself is not the issue. Well the photo of the back of the apartment is not accurate. It was covered in trash and pretty dingy. You will be in a really bad area. There are homeless people all over openly doing drugs. We were woken up at 2 am by people screaming and arguing with each other and then someone else going around each apartment and ringing doorbells. This is completely non refundable so just be aware of this when booking.

I have to say that there is a reason for this price so close to the city. If you have a few extra $ in your budget, I'd probably go some place else than to deal with the management company that oversees this property.
***SPOILER;; TLDR: The locks don’t work properly and we had someone walk in to our rental. Nobody came to fix the locks.***
First of all, they will not give you check-in information until the day of at the check-in time. Seemed reasonable. BUT — I was promised that the check-in information will show up on the company’s portal at 3PM (check-in time) but it never showed up, and probably never would have showed up if I didn’t call the company. So my partner and I had all our luggage and had to wait around hoping we didn’t get scammed until they finally texted us the access info. The portal was supposed to have the guest handbook, check-in info, wi-fi info, etc. but the portal never got updated so I had no access to those documents during my stay. I had to keep contacting the company and hope they’d reply back.
The apartment itself is what it is for the price. Wasn’t expecting anything fancy and knew it would be a bare-bones apartment. But what I didn’t expect was faulty locks (in a pretty cutty neighborhood), broken window blinds stuffed with paper towels, broken furnitures, and a basement trash dumpsters filled with trash bags. I can deal with all the other stuff, except the LOCKS. We knew the neighborhood we were staying in could be dangerous at times (we bo
