Cet appartement de 2 chambres et 2 salles de bain est flambant neuf - avec tout le mobilier. Il comprend une reine et une chambre en suite pleine grandeur. L'unitĂ© est extrĂȘmement propre et trĂšs joliment dĂ©corĂ©e. À seulement 5 minutes Ă  pied de la gare Ashmont (ligne rouge), qui vous emmĂšnera directement au centre-ville de Boston, Harvard Square, South Boston, Kendall / MIT, U Mass. Il y a deux grands restaurants Ă  proximitĂ© - Ashmont Grill et Tavolo Ristorante, ainsi qu'un cafĂ© local + un Dunkin juste en face de la station T.

L'espace
Notre maison a Ă©tĂ© construite au dĂ©but des annĂ©es 1890. Il est situĂ© Ă  Ashmont Hill, qui est une zone du quartier Dorchester de Boston - qui est connu pour ses belles maisons victoriennes, son quartier diversifiĂ© et Ă©clectique. La maison est situĂ©e Ă  seulement cinq minutes Ă  pied de la station Ashmont T, qui est la premiĂšre ou la derniĂšre station sur la ligne rouge. ExtrĂȘmement pratique.

AccÚs invité
L'appartement Ashmont est un appartement de deux chambres. Une chambre (The Map Room) a un lit queen et sa propre salle de bain. Alors que l'autre chambre (The Elephant Room), est également équipée d'un lit double et de sa propre salle de bain. L'appartement comprend un salon ouvert et une cuisine. Les clients à long terme (7+ jours ou plus) ont également accÚs à la laveuse et à la sécheuse, si nécessaire. This was a lovely apartment with great amenities and well equipped kitchen. It was sparkling clean with comfortable beds. Just an FYI, it was farther from downtown than I expected; a 20-25 Uber/Lyft or 25-30 minute train ride, and there is not much within walking distance. Knowing that, it was a nice apartment with good outdoor patio

Charming restored Victorian house; immaculately maintained

This was a lovely Victorian home and it is evident that the owners take a lot of pride in maintaining it and providing for their guests. The beds were comfortable and the shower lovely. There were plenty of kitchen amenities for cooking, although we did not use them. The downsides were a couple. As others mention, there is not a lot of sound insulation. One night we had a family above us and you could hear very clearly the sound of little feet running overhead. You also can clearly hear road noise from the two nearest streets. Fortunately, both of these noises settled down by 10:00 so we didn't have any issues getting sleep. The house is on a very nice street, but, again as others have said, a block or two over the neighborhood is a little sketchier than we would have liked. But we had no issues whatsoever.The unit more than adequately served our purpose, which was to attend our daughter's graduation and move her stuff out of her apartment. Overall, it was roomy enough for the two of us and very clean.

Great Stay

Hosts are very responsive & accommodating! Our group had a couple concerns regarding our luggage & the hosts made sure we had everything figured out. The property is very beautifully maintained & is within a 10 minute walk of the subway. If public transport isn’t for you, there are plenty of Uber/Lyfts in the area. I would stay here again when visiting Boston!

Very nice property and very clean. Nicely decorated and updated. Would have appreciated a standard (regular) coffee maker and some instructions on how to operate the nespresso. We also thought there was a washer and dryer based on the listing, but this 2 bedroom unit does not have them.

Great Location

I needed a one night stay before starting a tour throughout New England. This location was easy to get to from the trains, the apartment was wonderfully kept and easy to stay in. If you’re in the area, I would consider this location.

A perfect jewel

The area is very convenient for getting to Boston and surrounding areas. Ashmont metro is less than 10 mins walk. Some of it is a little eclectic and colourful. Limited restaurants in the area, you really need to drive. The property is fantastic a real home from home. Very well fitted out loved sitting outside in the morning reading a book with a cup of coffee. Great communication from the owner. Beautiful touches in the property and well equipped. Eddie was fantastic and very professional. Really enjoyed our stay.

College tour trip

My twins and I stayed here to visit four colleges in Boston. It was a great place to stay. There is a beautiful outdoor space that I used in the morning to drink my coffee. The place was spotless and the owners communicated very well.

Beautiful property with one major flaw

We have never stayed in a VRBO property as nice, clean and well appointed as this one. It was perfect by any measure except for one significant problem. This was a well restored Victorian home with one unit over the second unit. There is essentially no noise insulation between the units. We were unfortunate to have occupants above us that played music and operated their tv past midnight every evening, the first night to 1:30 a.m. As we are senior adults and try to retire in early evening the result was we were unable to fall asleep. Every night was the same experience. We tried cotton balls to muffle the sound but no relief. If staying here bring ear plugs or plan to stay up late.

Beautiful apartment!

We loved our stay! The apartment was immaculate, and the bedrooms were bigger than expected, with two separate bathrooms really adding to the appeal. There was plenty of space for our party of two couples. The decor was beautiful and the kitchen mostly well appointed. The backyard area was lovely, although we weren't aware that the office/bar structure would not be accessible until we arrived. Also, there was not a regular coffee maker (only a nespresso machine), which was a bit of an inconvenience. Other than that we truly enjoyed our time at the Ashmont House!

FIRST CLASS ACCOMMODATION

Excellent apartment in a lovely building. The property listing was very accurate and the apartment was immaculately clean and well equipped. Eddie is a great host and reacted very promptly to resolve a couple of trivial issues. The location was good with easy access to the T for the days we spent in Boston. It was also a good location for exploring New England. I did receive a traffic violation for parking our rental car pointing the wrong way - something other visitors from the UK may need to consider. Overall, a great base for an equally great holiday.

Beautiful, immaculate property

The property was in an old, historic region and the apartment had been recently renovated tastefully and beautifully. I don't think we have ever stayed in a property that was so immaculately maintained. With every question we had from planning through the stay Eddie, the co-owner responded to me immediately and in a very friendly manner. The downside was the location. Even though it was easy walking distance from the "T" and we were able to easily travel with public transportation from the airport, the location was in an area that we did not feel comfortable walking in, esp. at night. Access to restaurants and stores was not convenient. We (myself, spouse and graduating grandaughter) were happy we stayed here.
