Nous avions fait 2 réservations distinctes (une pour la 1re nuit et une seconde pour les 2e et 3e nuits). Les 3 nuits étaient déjà payées via Hôtel.com Lors de notre check-out après la 1re nuit, nous avons fait en même temps le check-in pour les 2e et 3e nuits suivantes. Le commis au comptoir n'a pas voulu reprendre ma preuve de carte de crédit en m'informant que ce n'était pas nécessaire. Par contre, lors de notre retour à la chambre en fin de journée le 2e jour, nos cartes de la chambre avaient été désactivées, car l'empreinte de notre carte de crédit (protection) n'avait pas été prise lors de notre 2e check-in. J'ai informé la responsable sur place de cet évènement, mais elle m'a dit que c'était impossible que le commis m'aie dit que ma carte de crédit n'était pas nécessaire (je crois qu'elle pensait que je mentais…. quelque peu insultant). De plus, nous aurions voulu une chambre communicante pour les 3 nuits avec les gens qui nous accompagnaient et ce ne fut pas possible, même si on nous avait préalablement confirmé que cette demande nous avait été acceptée. Déçu.

The hotel didn't particularly stand out in any way, and generally I had a pleasant stay, with one glaring exception. We were on vacation visiting a lot of the New England areas, and had a large, heavy gift bag of souvenirs and gifts we had bought. Housekeeping took it, and when we found it missing they claimed Housekeeping said they thought it was trash. Everything in the bag was brand new and there was no trash in the bag. Initially staff seemed to be sorry but offer no help or solutions other than to allow me access to their trash compactor to dig around in it to see if i could find anything. After I gave a little pushback the next day, they agreed to pay me back for whatever receipts I could produce of the items I had said were in the bag. That was the extent of it, no "sorry we'll make sure this never happens again", no further compensation, no promise of housekeeping review or training, but to just quietly sweep it under the rug. The entire process felt sketchy and I honestly felt like i got swindled by some shady practices by staff. Otherwise the facility was fairly clean and well run. Won't be using Holiday Inn on my vacation travels any more.

Shower was cold in evening Tub did not drain properly Phone did not charge— All extension cords were somehow unplugged, presumably from the last guest; while this isn’t an average thing to look for, it might make sense to ensure things are working (ie this also meant the lamps didn’t work— this could have been determined by testing those) Very easy to miss location (hard to see on highway, especially at night)

Absolutely the worse holiday inn ever , the fire alarm kept going off ,no microwave,bathroom reeked if urine ,kids running up and down the hall , the walls were dirty and dusty you couldn’t even see the white paint ,people were loud ,screaming and banging on who know what . Cords were all over the floor very unsafe , not to mention the moldy smell the hotel had just terrible

2 star hotel in disguise
Dingy old hotel not worth the price. Needs to be sub $100 a night. Doesnt even include breakfast. Everything is old, dirty looking and dark.

Disgusting place! Worse hotel ever
The absolute worse hotel I’ve ever stayed in. During October prices are tripled and the hotel standards were too low for the high asking price. There was a fire alarm that went off late at night and the sprinklers caused a flood that was there throughout the night. There was so much trash outside the rooms, my hotel room reeked of cigarette smell, the bathroom and fridge had rust, the carpet smelled awful, the elevator is very old and creepy, the hotel overall was dark and creepy. Housekeeping didn’t clean my room once during entire stay. Basically this hotel had all the class of a Motel 6. I will never stay here again.

There was blood on the back of the bathroom door and a suspicious looking red spot on the extra blanket that was given to me. There was dirt all over the baseboards and on/behind the sink. It was disgusting.

I did not like how their was people living at the hotel, kids in hallways making a mess, just laying their, people that lived their in and out. Not to mention bed bugs, I am all bitten up… terrible. For a Holiday Inn and Suites I would have expected better. I came home with my ace swollen and bites all over my body. Just gross.

Not worth $350 per night. No fan in bathroom - condensation was horrible. Vent in bathroom connected to room next door and we could hear everything they were saying. Loud guests in hallway keeping us up at night. Shotty craftsmanship in rooms/bathrooms. This was more like a $99 a night stay.

Won’t stay again
If it wasn’t for it being our anniversary and no other rooms available I wouldn’t have stayed here. So outdated and everything was just do dirty looking and we didn’t even have the room I requested we got a handicapped room. Outrageously priced but I’m the sucker that paid it. Will never again.

Expected better
We have stayed at other holiday inns and this by far is the worst. First: check in was quick and easy and we had no issues. Friendly staff all through out. The parking out front is limited and our room was all the way in the back of the hotel. When we drove back there, we noticed a number of broken down cars, a camper and shady area. The room is carpet and smelled of wet mold. The carpet near the bed was soaking wet. The bed was good, the pillows were okay. There were burn stains on the comforter. The room was kind of clean except the dirty carpet and peeling paint in the bathroom. The shampoo bottle was partially full so was obviously used and just left and not replaced. The first night there was loud music and banging until 11pm or so outside our room. We were glad to leave after 2 nights. No breakfast and didn’t see any coffee. It is close to Salem so that was about the only benefit.

The property appears to be housing people permanently not just a hotel. Hallways smell horrible of food cooking. School bus came to pick up children in the morning. Quite noisy in hallway. Very disappointed as I’ve always trusted the holiday inn name.

Hi. For $900 for a weekend I expected more. The place is carpeted from top to bottom and it STINKS. Literally smells so bad throughout the hallways let alone the rooms. The hallways are filled with garbage bags of what seems to be residents living in them. Would not be surprised if they were migrants. The walls are paper thin so you hear EVERYTHING. The bathroom toilet seat was barely hanging on, two of our towels had what seemed to look like peubic hair on them. There was this random casing on an electrical junction box in the bathroom that sounded as if kept sparking. The Kurig coffees/teas definitely seemed to be there for some time if not have seen better days. Beds and Pool were OKAY at best.

This trip was horrible. The hotel was not clean and many people are living there full time and hanging around outside the rooms ans illegally cooking inside of their rooms with hot plates. I belive refuges are living there . Carpets are soiled and dirty. Bathrooms were not clean. Spent 1k for two night's there and i am so unhappy

Great stay close to salem
We stayed on a Thursday in October for the proximity to salem. The ride there was so easy. The front desk staff were so nice. The room was very clean. I just think there weren’t enough outlets in the room/ by the bed for both me and my wife to charge our phones. I also wish the AC had a continuous fan option: Otherwise, we had a lovely stay

I was not aware that the hotel had so many long term residents. Needles to say there was people even laying in the laundry room. The rooms where musty as there is no ventilation in the bathrooms. The front desk service is horrible. I asked for towels I was told come and get it myself. Please, make sure that you bring your own bottled water as the hotel runs out of it and your only option is juices and soda.
