Welcome to Bonita Beach and Bay Bungalow! Located in beautiful Bonita Springs, known for its Gulf Coast beaches and parks, including secluded Little Hickory Island Beach Park and Bonita Beach Park, with its sand dunes. Nearby, to the north, is Lovers Key State Park, a popular swimming and kayaking spot. Made up of 4 barrier islands, the park is home to manatees and dolphins. Everglades Wonder Gardens features orchids, parrots and reptiles Our home is basically a three minute walk to the beach. Go to the end of the street turn right and walk by three houses and then go across the street to beach access number three. This speech is never crowded as there are no condo buildings along the road. Almost exclusively, single-family homes, and sometimes a multi family. Favorite things for us to do is walk the beach in the morning. Bring the kayaks out and go ocean kayaking or kayak in the bay. We also have a paddle board you are welcome to use. Feel free to fish off the 2 piers located on the bay at the end of the street. You can use docks for kayaks etc. both docks and the waterfront area is owned by the six houses on our street. I also sit out and have my coffee at the little table there. Great restaurants, Shopping and entertainment close by. Numerous state parks and preserves ready to explore. Housekeeping…. Flint Pen Strand offers a variety of habitats for wildlife including fox squirrels, white-tailed deer, bobcats, otters, swallow-tailed kites, and bald eagles. Bonita Springs Community Pool – Our twenty-five yard Community Outdoor Pool is located at 26890 Pine Avenue, just off West Terry Street. The facility offers a number of classes year round. The pool has eight lap lanes and ranges from three feet nine inches to six feet deep, and is kept at a nice temperature controlled eighty-four to eighty-six degrees Fahrenheit. Bonita Springs Soccer Complex – The Bonita Springs Soccer Complex is located at 27100 Kent Road just off East Terry Street. The soccer complex consists of three regulation sized fields, concessions stand, meeting rooms, restroom and and playground. Adult games are played on Friday nights, Saturday and Sunday. The youth league games are played on Saturday and Sunday. Bonita Springs Dog Park – The Bonita Springs Bark-N-Play Park is a wooded, spacious park that covers approximately six acres. There are three fenced areas for small, medium, and large dog breeds. It also features a covered pavillion, dog washing station, picnic tables, benches, and an asphalt multi-use path. Leitner Creek runs through it with a bridge going over it, adding to the park‘s serenity and beauty.
