Nous avons passé. Un agréable séjour. Mise à part un point sur laquelle nous nous sommes sentis abuses . En effet lorsque nous relisons notre réservation il est bien écrit. Un lit ou deux lit Nous avons bien demander une chambre standard avec un lit double. Lors de notre arrive à l Hotel. On nous informe que il n y a plus. De lits double. Et on nous impose une chambre avec deux lits . Cette précision doit nous Etre apporte lors de la réservation et non lors de notre arrive!!!! Légalement aucune faute n a été commis. Mais la méthode utilise n est pas claire et nous laisse un sentiment de s être fait avoir !!!!!!

Noisy cleaning staff in the mornings even though I had the do not disturb sign on my door, or as they call it the enjoying the moment . In other words be quiet. they slammed the doors so hard my window shook. restaurant could do with being heated. too many drunks from a wedding party swearing their heads off.

No problems with actual stay at property until this morning when fire alarm was sounded about 5.25 am. Actions following this could certainly do with tightening up. After a few minutes the fire alarm was silenced so we didn’t know if there was a fire or not! On checking told yes, not serious but smoke and needed to evacuate. Everyone gathered outside in designated area. Staff member came out approximately 5-10 minutes later (after fire brigade arrived) and proceeded to take a sort of register. No general instructions given and no attempt at organisation, she just went around the car park, easily missing people for the register. A little while later we were allowed back into the lounge to await further instructions and hot drinks were quickly made available. A short time after an update from the fire brigade we were advised breakfast was ready if we would like it. About 7.15 am we were told that apart from a couple of exceptions we were all allowed back into our rooms. When we checked out there was no mention of the incident or apology for the inconvenience! Whilst I appreciate the main thing was that no one was injured, from my perspective there was a lot that could be tightened up in fire procedures. Having managed residential care units where we have had occasion to have the fire brigade for genuine fire alarm call outs, I can honestly say my staff were much better trained and prepared.

Fantatsic in some areas, poor in others
Staff downstairs were great and helpful. Long black hairs found in bed when getting into bed, not nice! Room service staff walking into room on last day unannounced, apparently due to mis communication, luckily i was dressed!

Stayed over for a wedding at the same venue, perfect and reasonably priced. Absolutely loved the king sized bed which was extremely comfortable. Could have stayed in bed all day. Extra bonus was a 11 o’clock check up.

Love stay at this location when we are in the area! It’s always have cheerful staff, take care of your needs. The house keeping staff are friendly work quickly and quietly. Room was very, very hot and if the window was opened it was noisy. A large fan was provided though and a warning given that AC wasn't available.

Conveniently situated a short walk away from town however, the surrounding area is very run down with very limited options to eat out. The holiday inn is very well maintained with very comfortable beds and pillows and a clean, powerful shower. Unfortunately we stayed on the hottest weekend of the year when the air conditioning was out of order. Great breakfast and very friendly staff.

Amazing
The staff at the hotel are fantastic, from check in to the end. The front of house staff deserve a medal, even with a wedding on they were very attentive to the other guests staying at the hotel. The house keeping team were very friendly and willing to go out of their way to help. Room was comfortable and the bathroom had everything you would need. Would definitely stay again, thank you to all the staff

Great stay once again at Bolton Holiday Inn
We parked up in the underground carpark beneath the hotel has usual To the lift to the reception to sign in On arrival they noticed i had my arm in a sling & that i was walking awkwardly The said we can change you to an Accessible room which will be better for me They gave me the key & told me to check it out & said if your not happy we will change you back to the original room It was great and made my stay so much more pleasant All the staff are so very helpful & go out of their way to make your stay feel like a 6star stay The breakfast is 10/10 & something for everyone The hotel & rooms are spotless We will definitely keep coming back We done to all the staff 10/10

Not a bad hotel
Holiday inn offer a certian quality and they deliver. Sadly they have the card light system and i left a card in my room d'oh, ovrall the staff were very accomodating of me as i needed some assistantance due to injury. If i need to come back to bolton/greater Manchester this hotel will be on my radar.

Pleasant stay
We stayed for 4 nights prior to attending a wedding. All staff were very pleasant and friendly.Plenty of parking both outside and underground. Would recommend Food expensive as it is only pub quality but if you utilise a Taste card the price becomes acceptable.
