« It was a novel experience to stay in a converted jail. The breakfast was great and the service was overall very good. As a practical stay with two young kids I found the rooms to be on the small side (perhaps expected for a converted jail) and not so comfortable as a place to just unwind after a day of sightseeing. I would perhaps recommend it for a one night stay, just to try it out, but not for longer. »

« Nous avons choisi ce lieu pour une nuit sur notre road trip en Cornouailles. Une très belle surprise car c'est isolé et donc calme même s'il y avait du monde. Une immense chambre donnant directement sur le grand jardin boisé où parfois mouton et coqs viennent se balader dans frayeur. Un accueil chaleureux et un bon repas le soir. « We arrived at the hotel late and upon arrival had a sign saying under renovations. No pool/spa/gym/food. Room was ok. However interconnecting door unlocked which puzzled the staff as to why we would want to lock it. 2nd night bar then closed and had to request more milk pots as no laundry service/restock had taken place. Overall disappointed with the stay and feel it should be closed during renovations. The resort could be amazing but needs a lot of repairs. For what was a basic room...
