It's a very nice guest house. Bocas is a nice Island with Dome very good Restaurants and Bars. Tammy is friendly and welcoming. It feels like home!

Alan, the owner of the property was so very helpful during our entire stay. He always took the time to talk with us about the activities available and how to arrange. This property is within walking distance to everything we needed. His staff is friendly and the breakfast was always very good. This property was always clean. I would highly recommend Lulas! The guests were from all over the world and we found everyone to be very friendly. There is a nice area upstairs right outside of the rooms to gather for conversations. Our vacation was complete. If we ever return, we will stay here again.

Stayed at Lula’s Bed and Breakfast in February 2024 for two nights. This place is located within town and a lot of places are within walking distance. The day I came to the island, the owner, Tammy, picked me up from the airport. I was so grateful. The place itself is quiet, very clean, and comfortable. I loved sitting on the porch in the evening and looking out at the water. I appreciated the made to order hot breakfast in the morning. I had the eggs, bacon, and toast plate and it tasted great! Tammy and Allen are amazing owners and make you feel right at home. They have a lot of information and tips about Bocas Del Toro. Stay here when in Bocas!

We choose this accommodation after reading the excellent reviews. Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations at all. The accommodation is worn out, the room and especially the bathroom was very filthy. We were given a tour and the communal kitchen was also filthy. The mattress of the bed was also rock hard. We checked in and left immediately.

I was shocked about your view of our beautiful and charming little B&B. This is not a Four Seasons hotel, it’s an old Caribbean Island home. When you said it was filthy, I immediately ran upstairs to see what was wrong, not even sure what you thought was filthy. The whole town is under construction, and our rooms are cleaned daily. As far as the bed being too hard, if you would have told me that I would have added another mattress pad, but we have never had anyone tell us that they didn’t sleep well in our rooms. As you see, our reviews are great, you were looking for something more new and modern…and without character. Lula’s is a beautiful home and we keep all our rooms clean.

Warm and inviting B&B
Lula’s is a very inviting and comfortable b and b with great service and attentive hosts willing to inform you of all the amenities Bocas has to offer. Breakfasts were plentiful with ample choices. Good sized rooms with ac and comfortable beds. Highly recommend!

This place is in 1st hand about the service!
You stay in a calm street 5-10mins walk from all the noise and pulse. So perfect like that. I stayed in a basic room, be aware that one can be little tight for 2 ppl. Most important for me as solo traveller was that due to Tammy and Allans friendliness did i feel even more safe. They always gave tips and knew more or less what i was up to during the days because of that. The breakfast is great and cozy with a normal kitchentable were you often sit with the other guests. It was a lot of construction in bocas in general when I was there and Tammy drived me to the airport even if was just 7 mins walking.

We liked the traditional feel of the place, great welcome from Alan couldn’t do enough for you , every little detail was thought about . Room was good size and clean spotless. Bed was very comfy however the small bed was uncomfortable new matress needed. That was only complaint. The hammock on veranda great for relaxing. Breakfast was lovely. Beautiful dogs.

Lula’s was a perfect place to stay in Bocas! The property gave off a homestyle vibe and the hosts were very warm and welcoming. Rooms were very clean, had hot water, air conditioning, and relatively quiet throughout the night. The complementary breakfast was also a nice touch as it was one less thing to think about before starting your day. It’s also very short walk to Bocas Town with great restaurants nearby. Highly recommend Lula’s if you’re staying in Bocas Del Toro.

Perfect stay!
The hosts are wonderful, the property was beautiful, tidy and clean. There are two lovely dogs that greeted us with waving tags and smily faces. There is a view of the water from the second floor lounging area. The hosts have a “honour bar” which worked wonderfully! You write your name down and settle up at the end of your stay. The bed was very comfortable, soft sheets, fluffy pillows and great mattress - it was the best sleep I had throughout Panama. The location is great, a very short walk to every in the town but far enough away that you don’t hear the music. All and all, really great experience and would highly recommend!

We loved our stay at Lula’s. Excellent location on quiet street away from the centre but within easy walking distance from the centre. Complimentary breakfast was tasty and common breakfast room was a nice opportunity to meet other guests. We loved the common porch area providing view of the water across the street and entertaining hummingbirds constantly feeding from the feeders on the property. Consistent hot water for showers which was appreciated after busy days exploring the area.

Tammy and Alan, owners of the property, when above and beyond my expectations. The cook was excellent. Breakfast was superb. The room was clean and neat . Air conditioned, also fan. The bedding soft and clean , also the towels. The only suggestion that I have is a line for wet towels and bathing suits. Besides that everything excellent.

Lula is wonderful! I especially loved the upstairs area with the hammocks, overlooking the ocean. I had a couple great naps up there with the hummingbirds. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Love that they have beach towels and snorkels for use and bikes for rent. It's off the main drag which means peace and quiet for a good night sleep. Amazing rain showers, comfy beds and great air conditioning for those steamy Bocas nights!

I stayed at Lulas on a solo trip and it was great. Tammy was extremely helpful, breakfast was delicious, and I felt very safe there. All the other guest there were also super nice. I highly recommend her place.

This property and the owners were very fun and perfect for this area. Information was readily available from Alan and Tammy as were anything else that might be needed. The morning breakfast was also a perfect start to whatever type of day might be in store. We stayed for several weeks and enjoyed every minute of the time while meeting guests from other locations as they came and went.

Ein sehr schönes Bed & Breakfast Hotel... kleine Süsse Zimmer. Schade das das Bad so eng ist. Da könnte es doch schon bei einigen zu Problemen kommen. Inhaber sind mega freundlich und geben einen Tipps für Aktivitäten in der Umgebung etc.

Absolute gem in Bocas
Tammy uns Allen waren sensationell. Sehr zuvorkommend und mit sehr leckeren Tipps für das Beste Essen. Leider war ich nur eine Nacht dort, gerne wäre ich deutlich länger dort geblieben! Jederzeit wieder!

La amabilidad de los dueños y su disposición a ayudarte en cualquier cosa. Los desayunos son fantásticos (especial mención a los huevos revueltos que hace Sergio). Lo único mejorable, es el hecho de que no hablan español.

Liked that there was only 6 rooms. The common porch upstairs was delightful. Allen and Tammy, our host bent over backwards for all the guest, and the breakfast was always delicious. Close to downtown area. I spent a month there and it was just what I expected.

Lula’s…what it lacked in room comfort, it more than made up for in hospitality. What would you rather have…large accommodations with no host(pitality) or smallish room where your host exceeds your expectations. You won’t be disappointed at Lula’s. Hosts Tammy and Allen are onsite to ensure your pleasant stay. From airport pickup/drop off, to providing local tips, snorkeling gear and Bocas insights..plus their superb staff OC and Sergio. Lula’s provides you a true cooked to order breakfast and coffee is ready at 0700. Quiet rooms within walking distance to everything. Drinking water provided along with guest kitchen/fridge. Laundry service available. Be sure to have a dinner at El Casbah and fresh baked breads/treats/coffee at Panis - around the corner from Lula’s. PS…say hello to Angel and Buster the dogs.

Tammy has a great bnb, with everything you could ask for; Kitchen Living room area with a great view Laundry service Breakfast She was also willing to pick us up and drop us off on our arrival and departure. I would definitely stay here again!

Great hosts and funky little B&B. Lots of local information and tips and advice. Picked us up at the airport and shuttled us to the boat dock for a day trip to a neighbouring island. Fun times! Were collecting donations for people that couldn’t afford water during the dry season. 😀

We enjoyed our six-night stay at Lula’s B&B. Tammy and Allan were very pleasant hosts and helped us with arranging tours as well as providing recommendations for excellent restaurants. Their knowledge of Bocas del Toro is excellent. Lula’s is nicely situated and an easy walk to anywhere in Bocas Town.

Lula's ist ein kleines hostel. Jedes zimmer ist individuell eingerichtet, das finde ich sehr schön. Das ganze ist im familiären rahmen. Dort würde ich immer wieder übernachten.

Lovely B&B very conveniently located to Boca's Docks and Bocas Town in general - all within walking distance. They have bicycles and snorkel gear for guest use. Convenient communal kitchenette and fridge area. Air conditioned! Made to order breakfast in the morning - and coffee, of course!
