I showed up to get my room guy a front counter didn't find my reservation, he tried to sell me another booking I told him have to go outside to find out what happened then as I got to car he turned off lobby lights, so I had to walk away to another hotel.

Rosa, so sorry for the miscommunication. It was thought that you were leaving and because it was after 9pm the gentleman closed the door and turned the office/ lobby lights off. This closing of the lobby is done regularly at 9pm nightly but there is a night buzzer for afterhours arrival. So sorry.

Check-in took forever. Wifi was down. Walls are VERY thin. Area a bit sketchy. However...for such an outdated room, it was pretty clean. Water pressure was really good.

Great stay at the Knights Inn
Our stay was great and we will definitely stay again. The manager was very pleasant at check in and made the process super easy. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Kudos all the way around!!

Check in was easy and receptionist very friendly. Property itself needs some serious updating. Carpet was stained and dirty looking. Both the sink and bathtub leaked. It was noisy, and the restaurant/bar looked dingy and unappealing. Did not eat there. The free breakfast consisted of some wrapped pastries, juice boxes, and coffee.

This is a perfectly nice motel for the price. The bed was comfortalbe. The room was clean. The shower was strong and nice. Older, one story motel. Toilet was older and felt like it was made for a child. Short and not elongated. No breakfast except a couple of fruit bars and coffie. Worth the price on a weekend.

Check-in person was not very friendly. Also, I have low expectations for a continental breakfast but having only one package of breakfast cookies from a grocery store is pretty bad. At least provide instant oatmeal and cereal.

We serve, as a guest courtesy, a 'grab and go - prepackaged breakfast ' which can be sanitized by the guest before opening if they choose. We have served this type of breakfast since the Covid started. We are sorry that this type of breakfast did not please you. The Knights Inn Franchise does not require us to offer any breakfast. We offer coffee, coco. and hot cider plus cold juice, different pastries, granola bars and bagel chips. There is a cafe located across from our parking lot which is open Monday thru Saturday morning in case you prefer to purchase a breakfast meal. Very outdated. The mattress was worn out. There was supposed to be a breakfast at 6:00am and the area was locked and no one available.

So sorry you missed the breakfast. The lobby is where the breakfast takes place not the lunch and dinner restaurant adjacent to the lobby of the motel. As the sign on the door and the counter in the motel lobby states the breakfast (lobby) is open Monday through Saturday from 6am to 10 am but on Sunday the lobby opens at 7am to 10am. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Not the best motel in town when it comes to convenience. The ice machine is inside the restaurant, which was closed throughout our stay so we had to go buy ice outside. The front desk staff was nice but it seems like the printer is old and needs replacement. I waited quite a long time (about 30 minutes or longer) to complete check in, and frankly, it wasn't the lady's fault since the printer took forever to print in her back office. And just for the record, she did apologize for the wait, but still, the property manager needs to pay attention to things like that. Also, things were falling apart in the room- ie, the bathroom door, the lamps. The mattress needs to be changed since they were both sagging. Other than that, very affordable price, seemingly safe area, friendly/courteous staff; yet, a little cleanup is definitely in order.

Sorry about the printer issue. I had replaced the ink cartridge and found that it was a faulty cartridge. I ordered another one but it had not got here yet so we made do using the one in my office. Sorry you weren't happy with your accommodations. Thanks for giving us a try.

Definitely an older motel but very clean, hassle-free and it smells good! None of that overpowering air-freshener or toxic chemicals and none of that smoked in smell. It’s definitely not the Ritz-Carlton by any means and it’s a budget motel but it’s comfortable, clean and in working order! I will be staying here every time I’m in Boardman!
