This is a very special and unique property! Fabiola made us feel right at home… the cottage is comfy, spacious, and well decorated. A wonderful location for visiting Acadia, while also getting away from the crowds and into a classic little New England village.

We had a wonderful relaxing vacation thanks to our host Fabi and her sweet dog, Otto. Fabi has attempted to provide for all of our needs. The cottage is meticulously appointed and furnished with luxury linens. The king size bed is very comfortable even with our pup getting up on the cover. We appreciated that there was adequate storage enabling us to unpack our suitcases. The relaxing music of chirping birds when the window is open was a plus for us. But there is also a wireless speaker you can utilize. The kitchen is minimal in size but the refrigerator is standard and the air fryer, microwave, stove and coffee making options met our needs. There is also a fire pit that we didn’t use. We enjoyed reading on the covered porch. Yes, you can see the water from the porch. We greatly appreciated that Fabi had treated both our fenced yard and Otto’s adjoining yard for ticks and other vermin. Our Sophia loved playing with Otto and running in his big yard. Thank you Otto for sharing and being such a gentleman. We stayed a week this year. We plan to return for a longer stay in 2026. There is so much to do, see and explore in Blue Hill and the surrounding area. Fabi’s cottage handbook has a great deal of information. She is available to answer your questions. We enjoyed our basket of treats, 2 cappuccino coupons plus a toy 4 Sophia. Fabi greeted us & took her time familiarizing us with everything.We encourage you to choose Fabi’s chic cottage. My husband and I celebrated our 28th anniversary here and had such a lovely time. Fabiola has created a beautiful sanctuary. The room had everything we needed (one thing to note if you plan to cook is that you can’t fry things. She does have an air fryer that’s available.) Fabiola is quick to respond to texts and she thought of everything to make it a welcoming stay. The location is quite central to the various islands. And the local Hill’s bakery and Arborvine restaurant are highlyRecommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Blue Hills Cottage. Fabiola is the perfect host, and you can tell she genuinely enjoys hosting people. Super cozy and well appointed cottage, set in a beautiful landscape. It is the perfect place to stay if you have dogs, as it is fully fenced and perfect for them. Fabiola's Blue Hill Cottage is tastefully furnished and impeccably decorated, reflecting her experience as a design and decorating professional. The Cottage is comfortable and convenient for two, and Fabiola has provided most everything you'll need for a short or longer stay. The Cottage is very private despite being adjacent to the host's home. The village of Blue Hill is only two miles away, and the entire peninsula is readily accessible. If weather permits, be sure to spend some time on the Cottage's upper deck.

I spent a magical time at this fabulous cottage in Blue Hill. It was the perfect size for me and the dogs loved the yard! Located close enough to town to be able to run in quickly to get whatever I needed, I was also on the road to everywhere else in this great part of Maine. The best was the hostess, Fabiola. She made me feel like a houseguest and introduced me to Blue Hill and all its wonderful people. We will be back! We love the cottage, I have a new friend in Fabiola and the pups loved their afternoon romps in the big yard with Otto. Next year- a month!

My husband and I just spent an amazing week at Fabiola’s property with our dog. The space itself was perfect for the 3 of us. We loved the private beach access and the fenced in yard for our dog. The location was perfect for all of our hiking and exploring. Fabiola was such a great resource for suggestions and recommendations and was always very responsive. Can’t recommend staying here enough!!

This is the cutest apartment with close proximity to multiple hiking areas (also dog friendly). We were very comfortable staying for almost a week. The beach walk is a hike in itself but the beach is very private with gorgeous views. We were able to watch a regatta from the beach, as well. The kitchen & bathroom are very small but everything was well kept and functional. The bed was extremely comfy. The fenced in yard was also great for the dog!

I booked this cottage for my boyfriend’s birthday in October and he said this was his favorite trip. Prior to booking I wasn’t sure where exactly in Maine we wanted to stay/visit as we always just wanted to go. Blue Hill is a must! The town was so charming and had the most incredible sandwich shop, accompanied by the best wine shop we’ve ever found that makes their own bread with the nicest staff! Aside from the town, Fabiola was the most incredible host even though we were a bit calamitous. She checked in on us and let us have our privacy for being just next door in her guest house. I would go again in a heart beat if she would have us! Her cottage is so charming and clean. I can’t say enough how this trip exceeded everything I expected. It was like being immersed into a movie!

We had an incredible stay at Fabiola's cottage! Fabiola was incredibly communicative, and she greeted us when we arrived. She offered us a tour of the property, and she even put together the cutest welcome basket for us -- with a dog for our pup! The apartment was spotless, warm, and cozy. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings, and Fabiola had made sure that we had fire wood and lighters available. There is also a huge fenced in yard that was perfect for our dog. He loved being able to run free! We stayed in the apartment and drove to Acadia every day for hikes, and it worked out wonderfully. The kitchen had everything we needed to make small dinners for ourselves at home and rest before the next day's adventure. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing place to stay with your pet as a home base for exploring the national park, look no further!

Fabiola is an awesome hostess!❤️. She thought of everything to make our stay comfortable a basket full of goodies and keepsakes to a toy for our dog. ( which is now his favorite toy) Awesome play dates with her pup,Otto. But seperate yards in case they don’t get along. She was available but respected our privacy. The accommodations were very private. The private beach was awesome. The bed was very comfortable, a cute kitchen with all the amenities needed. Can’t say enough about our stay a Bluehill Cottage.5+stars all around.

I have never felt more taken care of during our stay at Fabiola's beautiful cottage! My husband and I spent a weekend getaway here with our dogs, and it was nothing short of perfect. The cottage is impeccably decorated, the property is just plain special, especially if you're a dog owner, and Fabiola is a wonderful, attentive, and genuine host. My only regret is not staying a few more days--but we'll be back. :)

A quaint cottage with eclectic furnishings combine to create a cozy and comfortable suite for two. The rooms are supplied with thoughtful conveniences for use throughout your stay. The caring host made us feel very welcome and is available if needs arise. A welcome basket of tasty goodies and handy items was a pleasant surprise. Our stay was in chilly off-season but we took the short walk to the beach anyway. It looked appealing with easy water access which is unusual for the area.

Staying at Fabiola’s guest cottage, felt as welcoming as staying with a long lost cousin. We had a splendid, relaxing time. Fabiola had many thoughtful touches, our favorite of which was the dog toy she chose, especially for our dog. It’s his new favorite! Location is great with easy access to blue hill and close to Ellsworth. there was no noticeable road noise. We highly recommend this place to others.

Warm and inviting. Fabiola was attentive with out being intrusive. She thought of everything including things for my dog. Besides the charming cottage, I had my own covered deck and fenced yard for the dog. The private beach on the bay is beautiful.

Blue Hill Cottage was everything we were hoping for and more. Fabiola was a wonderful host, who was gracious with her time and recommendations. She made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and was available anytime if needed. Upon arrival, Fabiola had a basket of goodies waiting for us,, which even included a little gift for our pup! The home was well stocked with anything you could need.. There is plenty of outdoor space, including access to a private beach just a short walk from the house. When we return to the area, we hope to stay at Blue Hill Cottage again!
