« The 1661 Resort is hands down my favorite place to stay on Block Island. The views are absolutely breathtaking. It's also far enough from the downtown bars and crowds that you can truly relax and enjoy the peace and quiet, while still being just a short walk or bike ride away from everything.

« For the price, understanding that it is a summer resort Island. But the room they showed us in October was beautiful compared to the sparse room we were in. Steep stairs to our room, no coffee in room, no complimentary breakfast. We have been coming to the Surf Hotel through all the owners for at least 40 years.We will not be coming back. »
