« Received a warm welcome from the owners and staff at The River Don Tavern. Had a lovely meal, well cook with generous portions. Good size room with large bed, plenty of tea, coffee, chocolate and biscuits. Good breakfast supplied. Shower a bit dated, but clean with plenty of hot water. Spacious car park. « Right from setting foot in the place, we were made to feel very welcome. We were shown to our room, even though we arrived three hours early and only wanted to see if we could drop off our bags. An ideal location for the Malton food festival. The only real issue we had was no parking, due to the festival. "Bon hôtel au niveau confort et petit déjeuner copieux, un peu de difficulté quand on ne s'exprime pas correctement en anglais. Le bémol nous étions 2 adultes et 2 enfants, le lit n'était pas prêt pour les enfants et les serviettes de bains pas prévues, problèmes réglés rapidement avec le personnel de l'accueil. problème également quand on vient en voiture, pas d'indication que l'entrée de l'hôtel se fait par le parking de la surface commerciale, j'ai dû tourner un peu pour voir que l'information du parking se trouve dans la rampe d'accès au parking."
