Hotel remarquablement situé.
A mi chemin entre Assise et Perouse ( 10km de chaque ville), cet hotel de petite taille est remarquablement situé dans l'ancienne place forte etrusque de Betonna surplombant ces deux villes. Hotel de tres bon niveau remis a neuf dans une construction médiévalle , tres bien maintenu, avec un joli restaurant proche de la piscine au rez de chaussée. Le service est professionnel sans enthousiasme excessif . Le restaurant est parfait sous reserve de ne pas sortir de la cuisine italienne.Le panorama depuis l'hotel est impressionnant. Lieu idéal pour découvrir la region.

Très bonne prestation
Personnel agréable, hôtel charmant et calme dans un petit village surélevé et peu fréquenté par les touristes. La piscine est très appréciable, quoiqu'un peu petite, et le petit-déjeuner copieux est excellent.

The views were incredible! The historical values and sense of being made every moment special. The location on the mountain top made you feel safe, protected and relaxed. The staff was gracefully accommodating and tended to our every want and need! This was my second stay here and it won't be my last...we LOVE it here!

Locatie en uitzicht is geweldig. Bettona zelf is een leuke dorp. Het Hotel zelf heeft zijn charme maar wanneer je er een paar nachten geslapen hebt komen de gebreken en verbeterpunten naar boven. Hou je van een goede douche dan moet je helaas genoegen nemen met een zeer lage waterdruk en weinig water. De douchecabine is helaas aan de kleine kant. Maar aan de andere kant is er naast de wc ook een bidet. Als je niet van insecten houdt dan kan je de ramen helaas niet openen want daar vliegen supermuggen en bijen waar je U tegen zegt. Dus een plisse raamhor zodat je altijd nog van het uitzicht kan genieten en savond de ramen open kan zetten als je niet van Airconditioning houdt is zeer welkom. Airconditionings zijn ook aan een reiniging toe want de filters ruiken muf zo dus ook de kamer daardoor. De kamers zijn ook donker. Het ontbijt valt ook tegen. Je bent in Umbrie dan denk je aan olijven en olijfolie en meerdere italiaanse kazen, of italiaanse groenten van de streek. Maar niks te zien bij het ontbijt zoals olijven, komkommers, tomaten, mozarella, pecorino etc. Een olijfolie dip bijvoorbeeld zou al het verschil maken. Het zwembad oogt groot op de foto maar is het niet in werkelijkheid. Het terras is geweldig zowel overdag als in de avond.

We loved our stay here! The staff was so helpful in giving us recommendations for places to visit and restaurants. The restaurant at the resort was amazing- the food was perfect, and the staff were engaging. The room was beautiful and we rested well. We would go back to this beautiful resort and town. The view is spectacular especially for the sunset from the restaurant terrace along with the night views of Assisi and Perugia on the above balconies.

Una notte in un borgo antico
Struttura interessante con affaccio panoramico sulla valle, il paesino è molto caratteristico. La struttura per essere all'interno di un antico borgo risulta poco agevole a motivo di gradini etc. Le docce sarebbero da rendere più moderne e confortevoli (almeno quella della camera dove abbiamo alloggiato). Trattandosi di un 4 stelle stupisce che le bottigliette d'acqua nel frigobar fossero a pagamento.

Beautiful location, stunning scenery and fabulous service. Small lanes up to the top of the hill so be wary of driving to the hotel.

Pessimo rapporto qualità prezzo
Struttura decadente sicuramente da ristrutturare per poter essere un quattro stelle. Sensazione di lusso ed esclusività totalmente assenti. Le fotografie traggono in inganno. Servizi mediocri, piscina piccola e di difficile fruizione (pochi posti da prenotare con anticipo), colazione priva di prodotti locali. Bella vista della terrazza della colazione. Camera 104, difetti: sciaquone del wc poco funzionante, aria condizionata insufficiente, telecomando TV mancante (anche se il personale si é prodigato per risolvere quest'ultimo problema). Unica nota positiva: stanze silenziose. Per 150€ a notte ci si aspetta una struttura decisamente migliore.

Bettona ist ein sehr ruhiger, kleiner Ort, der im Gegensatz zu vielen Anderen mit dem Auto angefahren werden kann. Wir haben von dort aus Umbrien erkundet, es war wunderschön.

Beautiful location. Very friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable, spacious room if not very luxurious. Would have really liked to be able to make tea/coffee in the room rather than having to go to the reception area. Restaurant is expensive and ok food. Nothing was particularly warm. 4 euros for a green salad which was literally a bowl of shredded iceberg lettuce! Feel they are taking advantage a little as there is only one other place to eat within walking distance. However there is a brilliant local restaurant at the bottom of the hill about 3 mikes away.

sono ritornato dopo due anni al Relais: una conferma su tutto. La location, la sistemazione, la colazione: tutto perfetto e gradevole. Cercherò di apprezzarlo anche con la bella stagione vista la presenza della piscina.

Nonostante si sia fatto presente che sin dall’arrivo che il Wi-Fi non funzionasse, al momento del check out ancora non era stato riparato. Good for rural wedding
Was in the area for a nearby wedding and stayed 2 nights. The staff was friendly and the setting was beautiful. We had an amazing view of the surrounding countryside. The suite was strange in that the separate sitting area was two uncomfortable chairs and it left for the bedroom smaller. Had I known I would have booked a regular room. Bathroom was great with large bathtub and great view out the window. Pool area and roof terrace were comfortable and very relaxing. Important to know: while there is internet, it is very slow and hard to get outside the main building. Fine if you want to relax and unplug but frustrating if you are managing work remotely as I was. Overall, a good place to stay for quiet and relaxation.

bellissimo posto e struttura ma non da 4 stelle
l'Hotel è bellissimo anche se le foto non rispecchiano la realtà attuale in quanto al posto degli sdraio e del campo ora c'è la parte coperta del ristorante. la piscina è molto piccola con 6 posti a sedere ma non penso che si decida di andare in un posto così bello per andare in piscina. Il ristorante raffinato e elegante al pari dello standard dell'Hotel. la spa non è proprio adeguata perchè ti permettono di entrare solo a coppie massimo tre persone e poi è solo una sauna e la sala relax dove solo in una parete c'è appeso il sale pur chiamandosi stanza del sale. abbiamo fatto anche un massaggio relax ma la estetista si è persa per entrambi nel tempo e ci ha lasciato a fine ora senza finire il massaggio e zuppi d'olio. Se avessi io in gestione una perla così riordinerei qualche cosa.... dimenticavo non va internet

Poor service even after explained problems. Took two days to get the safe fixed. Breakfast poor quality. Canned fruit, dry pastries. Staff poor and untrained. Don't stay at this hotel. Value very poor.

Check which part of the hotel you are booked into as there are VERY different. This hotel is a lovely example of Italian architecture circa 1700, however it is very run down

Basta una notte
Un paio di giorni in giro per l'Umbria con pernottamento a Bettona, in questo hotel, in questo minuscolo borgo in cui si gode di una tranquillità che in città è del tutto perduta.Forse basterebbero pochi tocchi di colore per rendere l'hotel un pò più accogliente anche perchè, a chi non interessano le cure di bellezza rimane abbastanza poco. Una cosa colpisce molto, il panorama splendido con la vista di Assisi dall'altra parte della valle. Comunque siamo stati bene lo stesso ed abbiamo dormito un sonno più che tranquillo.

Era quello che desideravamo. Posto tranquillo. Pace assoluta. Panorama eccezionale. Abbiamo trascorso proprio una settimana bellissima. Personale gentile e efficiente. Servizi all'altezza. Camera e bagno puliti. Colazione perfetta. Parcheggio pubblico comodissimo. Non abbiamo usufruito della piscina e della Spa perchè interessati a escursioni. Per finire, rapporto qualità/prezzo altissimo. Insomma, tutto OK.

Could have been so much better.
Amazing location which allowed us to visit some wonderful places nearby. Great for Perugia and Assisi. Very quiet hotel that has aged well but comes with snags. A few frustrations that could/should have been attended to but I put that down to bad luck. The hotel has amazing potential but on this occasion fell short. Hopefully when we return it has got its act together because it is I a truly wonderful location.

Not a four star.
This is not a Four Star Hotel. It is tired and a good 3 star. The rooms are very basic I received a huge number of bites in the room but I am overly sensitive and my friends were fine. The restaurant is decent and the service good. There is no other place in town to eat so you must get in the car and travel 15 minutes. Pretty views. The pool is tiny. Dunk don't swim. Skip the massage. Pricey by Umbria standards and just ok.

Das Hotel ist eigentlich gar nicht so schlecht....aber am Empfang sitzt die unfreundlichste Person die wir in unserem ganzen Urlaub angetroffen haben.Die hat uns den Aufenthalt gründlich vermiest..zudem gibt es auch Nichts in Bettona für das man da hinfahren sollte..außer der Aussicht.

Tranquility and beauty
The hotel is about 20 minutes from the huge crowds of Assisi. It is quiet and charming and is a great place to use as a base to see Assisi and others lovely hill towns including Spello, Bevagna, and others. There is a super restaurant in the town of Torgiano, about 6 kilometers away called Siro. We had lunch and Easter dinner there. The staff was welcoming and helpful. Wish we could go again! If you are looking for a quiet place, good value, and tranquility (there is no shopping to speak of) in a small very clean town this is perfect. There is also free parking close by. Also there was a wonderful breakfast!

Soggiornato due notti in b&b assieme alla mia compagna. Ottimamente. Purtroppo non abbiamo sfruttato appieno le potenzialità dell'Hotel: ristorante e spa. Camera silenziosa e calda, ottima e abbondante la colazione. Visuale fantastica. Bello bello

PECCATO!!! Una bella struttura....
L'Hotel è molto caratteristico posto all'interno di un paesino medioevale, ma tolti questi fattori il resto è solo un gruppo di giovani ragazzi (probabilmente alla prima esperienza lavorativa)di cui non vi è un chiaro concetto dell'adeguato trattamento in un hotel a 4 stelle. Ho fatto alcune puntualizzazioni ma non ho avuto la minima riposta in alcuni giorni di soggiorno. Mi spiace ma la delusione è stata abbastanza grossa!!!

Ottima base di partenza per visitare l'Umbria
Ho soggiornato con la famiglia in questo hotel per 6 giorni, utilizzandolo come base di partenza per visitare le note località dell'Umbria. La posizione è ottima in quanto si trova a meno di mezz'ora da Perugia, Assisi, S. Maria degli Angeli, Spello, Bevagna, ecc..., e comunque in meno di un'ora di auto si possono raggiungere anche Gubbio, Spoleto, Todi, Città di Castello, Gualdo Tadino, ecc... La stessa località di Bettona, in cui si trova l'hotel, è meritevole di una visita, e la vista della vallata umbra e di Assisi dall'hotel è certamente degna di nota. Per quanto riguarda l'hotel, se nel complesso si può ritenere accettabile, ha tuttavia denotato in più di un'occasione alcune deficienze, quali a titolo di esempio: wifi non funzionante in camera (la nostra camera apparteneva al secondo complesso della struttura, quello in cui non era presente la reception), riscaldamento funzionante a singhiozzo (caldaia in blocco in almeno tre diverse occasioni...), acqua della doccia al massimo tiepida (comunque mai effettivamente calda) con eccezione per la serata di capodanno in cui era completamente fredda..., locali ove veniva servita la colazione non propriamente caldi, ecc...
