« Thanks for a wonderful stay Nigel! Your hospitality and local knowledge was second to none! We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge and reading all about how it was built. Such a beautiful setting with a big peaceful field all around us, the quiet and the comfort of a well constructed property! The little treats left for us on day one was very thoughtful and heartwarming. Thank you!! »

« Great location about 10 minutes drive into the City. Large, clean room with tea, coffee etc and fresh milk in fridge & bottled water too. Quirky room as part of an old pub so floors a little uneven and steepish staircase to get to rooms, but didn’t detract from the stay. Breakfast was delicious and staff all extremely friendly & helpful. As it’s a pub, you are obviously aware of noises from the pub during the day and evening but as soon as it closes, it’s very quiet. »

« très bien »

« Hôtel plein de charme, pas de doute on est bien en Angleterre. Seul gros bémol, l’isolation de la fenêtre de ma chambre qui donnait sur la rue. Impossible de dormir après 4h du matin avec le passage des voitures. »

« Location very good, staff pleasant. »

« Except the breakfast (all is there but teast not), the place is nice, mainly because the team on site is really helpful, pro and friendly. That made my stay great. Thanks a lot »

« Really lovely staff, lovely room and great food. Only point to note is that the accomodation is above the pub, so if you go to bed early this may not be the place for you as some of the bar sounds can be heard until closing time. »

« Hotel not as quiet as I'd hoped, but situated opposite the wonderful Tewkesnury Abbey. Good breakfast ! »

« Séjour très agréable, très bon accueil, très bon restaurant Je recommande vivement »

« Lovely old property . Nicely decorated. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Unfortunately my bathroom needed refurbishing the bath was chipped and bath taps loose and parts missing. The window frame was rusty and needed painting. A shame because room decor was pleasant. »

« Hôtel qui nécessiterait d'être rénové après de lourds travaux il y a au moins dix ans au goût discutable et avec une qualité des matériaux utilisés bas de gamme pas en raccord avec la bâtisse. Décevant, sans compter une restauration et un choix de type "cantine" »

« Lovely spacious room with large en-suite. Very clean with water, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Lovely little extra were the complimentary chocolates and sweets. Breakfast was excellent, excellent options, I had the Avocado on toast with poached eggs which was delicious and coffee was also good quality. Would highly recommend this hotel. Was great value. »

« Great place to stay for our journey home. Staff very friendly and helpful, ideal location just off the M5. »

« Etablissement sans prétention mais bien tenu, très bien situé à proximité immédiate du centre piétonnier. »

« Very pet friendly »
