Private Maisonette in Berlin's most central district

Housed in the most central district of Berlin (Mitte), Guesthouse Moabit’s apartments are in a quiet street within a lively central neighbourhood that is well connected to the local sights. The nearest subway station, Turmstraße, can be reached in about 5 minutes on foot, the metro station Beusselstrasse is just 10 minutes by foot or a 3 minute bus trip away; and many buses to get around the city are accessible in under 3 minutes. A direct bus to the central train station allows a comfortable commute to BER airport by train.

This is a maisonette apartment with two floors. To the bathrooms you will go down a spiral staircase, the bed is a bunkbed with stairs as well. So we recommend this place to the young and fit. To those, who do not enjoy using stairs in their accommodation, we recommend checking out our other awesome 1-floor apartments!

Our apartments are bright, cosy, and seek to create a homelike atmosphere. They are all equipped with either a kitchen or a smaller kitchenette that includes hobs, a minifridge, and an electric kettle along with basic cooking implements. All rooms have en suite bathrooms. WiFi connectivity is available in all areas and street parking is possible in the surrounding blocks.

The beautiful river Spree is just around the corner and the nearby streets are dotted with numerous cafĂ©s, eateries, and bars. Berlin’s large Tiergarten park is a very short bus ride away and the well-known shopping avenue, Ku’damm, is 3 subway stops from Turmstraße.

Appartement bien situé, quartier calme et sécurisant. Gregor est disponible pour ceux qui le souhaite. A noter, un lit en mezzanine avec une échelle, donc pas pour ceux qui aurait le vertige. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés.

Nous avons passĂ©s un trĂšs bon sĂ©jour dans ce logement. Ce logement est idĂ©al pour deux personnes. La salle de bain est lĂ©gĂšrement Ă©troite mais fonctionnel. Gregor a pu nous donner plusieurs indications sur des bons endroits oĂč manger dans le quartier. Des petites attentions tel que du gel douche, des jeux de sociĂ©tĂ© et des livres en français sont mis Ă  disposition.

Bon rapport qualité prix

Avec mon conjoint ont s’est adaptĂ©s Ă  ce logement sur 2 niveaux avec en plus le lit trĂšs confortable surĂ©levĂ© disposant d’une Ă©chelle. Les toilettes et douche sont en bas il faut prendre l’escalier en colimasson le niveau 0 il y a la kitchenette et tĂ©lĂ© et table puis l’échelle pour atteindre le lit. C’est assez sportif mais ça ne nous a pas trop gĂ©nĂ© De plus le qualitĂ© prix y est pour Berlin On a adorĂ© notre petit sĂ©jour de 4 nuits et l’hĂŽte est trĂšs agrĂ©able . VoilĂ  merci beaucoup 🙂

We liked having a quiet, private apartment that had most everything that we needed including the kitchenette with basic supplies, and towels and bedding. Hand/body soap would have been nice, but fortunately we had enough with us. The apartment is a bit of a workout physically, with the bed up a ladder and on a loft, and the bathroom with shower down a very narrow spiral steps. We were appropriately warned though. One must be fit and flexible enough to navigate the place, but it’s a nice “home base”, cozy and quiet, up just one flight of stairs from ground level in a large apartment building that’s set back from the street with its own courtyard. There is a bus just a couple blocks away that runs directly from the Hauptbahnhof, although when we traveled the other direction, we had to transfer onto the S-Bahn at Turmstraße. But it’s very convenient. The rest of the time while we were out sightseeing, we walked about 15 minutes to the Turmstraße U-Bahn station because the U-Bahn was a much faster way to travel around the city. Finally, we appreciated having plenty of outlets and 3 USB ports to charge everything each night. The USB ports are tucked away under the shelf where the TB is. Many thanks for a fun time in Berlin!

Cute and Cozy

The house is really cute and cozy, the bed is comfy and big. The kitchen tools are enough for two people. The stairs to the bathroom is a bit hard to use, need to be careful. Check-in and out was easy. We really liked the house and thought it was very homey :)

Ferienwohnung in Berlin Moabit

Das Objekt war wie beschrieben. Eine kleine Maisonnettenwohnung. Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich ein kleines Bad mit Waschbecken, Toilette und Dusche. Im 1. OG ein Zimmer mit einem Hochbett, einem kleinen Tisch und einer Kochnische. Das Bad ist ĂŒber eine steile und enge Wendeltreppe mit dem Zimmer verbunden. Man sollte also auf alle FĂ€lle fit sein wenn man hier ĂŒbernachten möchte. Das ganze Objekt ist schon ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen und eine Renovierung wĂ€re sicher mal angebracht. Zum Beispiel war das GelĂ€nder der Wendeltreppe ziemlich wackelig. Aber alles in allem war es fĂŒr den Preis und fĂŒr drei NĂ€chte absolut ausreichend. Die BegrĂŒĂŸung war freundlich und es wurden alle relevanten Informationen mitgeteilt. FĂŒr jemanden der eine kostengĂŒnstige Abstiege im Zentrums Berlins sucht genau richtig.

Alt-Moabit kann gefÀhrlich sein

Ja also wir wurden von fĂŒnf Arabern nach Hause verfolgt bis in den Innenhof haben uns dann halt am nĂ€chsten Tag mit ein paar abwehrmittel aus einem Army Store ausgerĂŒstet dann ging das auch gut mit dem Schlafen... Das passiert aber normalerweise nicht da.aussieht

Apartment was clean, easy to find, and within a 15 minute walk to the U-bahn. Gregor the host was incredibly easy to communicate with. We had a request on the second day and he kept us updated until he was able to help us out. The spiral stairs are indeed easier to navigate if you are without mobility issues! My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay for 5 nights.

Great stay with very accommodating hosts!

We loved our stay here! It was close to the tram/metro and in a cute area. The hosts informed us that there was a leak in the apartment and offered to upgrade us to another apartment of theirs. They were very flexible and prioritized our comfort. We would definitely stay there again!

Ruhig gelegen...

Wir waren vom 17.05 bis 19.05. in einer der UnterkĂŒnfte. Das GUTE, es ist ruhig gelegen und man kann dort ĂŒbernachten und sich morgens Kaffee oder FrĂŒhstĂŒck zubereiten. Die 2 RĂ€ume sind nicht sehr gross.Das Zimmer wurde offenbar mal neu gestrichen, aber das Kreppband wurde nicht wieder entfernt.Farbreste an den Lichtschaltern,Steckdosen und der Lampe.Unsauber gearbeitet. Der defekte Fernseher wurde ausgetauscht. An der Wendeltreppe ist ein Holm lose, KĂŒhlschranktĂŒr ist rostig.Insgesamt machte das Gebotene leider einen lieblosen Eindruck. Das ist MEINE persönliche Meinung. Aber, zum ĂŒbernachten reichts.

This is a fantastic place to stay if you want to visit Berlin - a really sweet little compartment, spread over 3 floors. The only thing that has prevented me from giving it 5stars is that I feel that it needed a few more pots and pans, plates and cups. Otherwise superb and highly recommended.

amazing property!

It was our good luck to find this place for our stay in Berlin. It’s an impeccably-maintained studio in a building that’s part of a compound with gate access from the street. It has a loft bed, kitchenette, and a bathroom (shower, sink with mirror, and toilet) exclusively for use by this unit but located in an empty room, one floor down, accessible from within the apartment by a narrow staircase. The living space is efficiently furnished to support the typical needs of a short stay. Other things we appreciated: beautiful wooden floor and kitchen counter; large window letting in plenty of light; good kitchen/bathroom water pressure and temperature range; two radiators that kept the space warm; cozy loft bed (some attention was required using the ladder and the staircase to the bathroom but nothing problematic for anyone without balance or mobility issues); quiet, peaceful building (and neighborhood—but the area is also thriving with life, just more the life rhythms of locals and not so much tourism or globalized retail commerce); excellent restaurants and cafĂ©s in and around the area, and nearby groceries; close to public transportation (two bus stops a five-minute walk from the apartment and the tram 10 minutes away—all taking you to Berlin Hauptbahnhof). Our many thanks to our gracious hosts. They were helpful in getting us settled in as well as providing us with useful information. Their thoughtfulness and hospitality contributed a lot to the great time we had in Berlin.
