« This property is a lovely combination of magical and historical beauty with the luxuries we love to have on vacation. The pool and hot tub were a delightful way to end the day, the double canopy and swing overlooking the Thames and regularly visiting swans was a perfect start to the day with a cup of coffee. If you have the means, I highly recommend it. We will absolutely be returning.Thank you »

« We had a lovely stay with friends and went to Newbury Races which was a couple of stops on the train which is a 5/10 minute walk from the cottage The cottage was very nice 2bedrooms the smaller on is a bit small but fine for a few nights The kitchen is well equipped in fact the only down side was the shower which was very low pressure and the temperature kept changing so you had to jump in and out otherwise it was wonderful and we would use it again if staying in the area »

« There is no parking at the property. It’s pot luck on roads around the property!! I received a parking ticket during my stay having specifically booked because the listing said parking. The beds were really comfortable, but some of the cleanliness and condition of things was questionable. There’s also a really noisy neighbour who blares television through the wall until 12pm. Shame, it had so much potential. »

It was a short walk to the village shops and nice restaurants, and we found it to be very centrally located for visiting friends and family in the surrounding area. We have already decided we would be very happy to return the next time we are in the UK! »
