Bel hotel, mais aucun service.
Bel hotel, recemment rénové. Une suite bien décorée, assez confortable bien que les salles de bain soient petites et manquent de place pour poser ses affaires. Malheureusement, aucun service... A l'arrivee, personne pour vous aider à monter les marches avec vos bagages, Personne pour vous accompagner avec vos valises. Pas de produits d'accueil, il faut aller les demander... Pas de service de restauration en chambre et le restaurant ferme à 21h00... Dommage si vous arrivez après 21h00.

Hei! We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your recent stay with us and liked your suite. While the restaurant does close around 9:30-10pm, you can call us in advance if you expect to arrive later and we can usually arrange some food to be made in advance and be delivered to you on arrival. Our friendly receptionists are also happy to help you with luggage if you need help with the entry stairs.

L'hôtel est superbe et très bien situé. La chambre était impeccable. Personnel toujours souriant et disponible. Mention special pour le petit dejeuner en buffet de très grande qualité en plus de la variété de choix possible.

Disappointment from Beginning to End
Quite disappointing experience for a hotel with such standard and price. Deluxe room are not as the ones shown on pictures (our room had 2 very small windows, no view, overall really dark and just in front of the entrance of the restaurant/breakfast place). We went to the reception to complain and we were told that all Deluxe room are not the same and there was no solution. We had to find a solution and ask for a smaller room but with at least a large window. If you plan to book a nice hotel with a view, make sure they book you the one on the picture and don’t try to trick you with another one. No commercial gesture has been done. When we wanted to leave, no one was at the reception and 3 groups were waiting. We had to call ourselves the receptionist using their phone desk. Really the service does not exist in this hotel, really sad and disaster experience in Bergen. Value for money is absolutely not okay, you will easily find another better place than this hotel. Only advantage is location and breakfast.

The hotel has a great location, friendly staff and nice restaurants and bars. Their new Spanish restaurant is particularly good! I would recommend booking here with a few awareness items. Their staff was nice but they could use more front desk help as there was often a queue or wait for someone to return, they have a number of stairs to navigate inside and out with no ramp, if you are sensitive to noise ask for an interior room in case it’s time for Friday and Saturday night party groups driving up and down the road in muscle cars or on party buses with loud bass and if you have an early tour like we did (departing at 8am when breakfast opened), ask for a takeaway option the night before. We had mentioned we would miss breakfast at checkin but the option wasn’t offered. We only learned about it later when asking for our 2nd day.

Nice hotel in a great location. Breakfast was fine but dinner was exceptional. Disappointed in the accommodation. I booked a Corner Sfuite but was handed the keys to 2 rooms. The corner suite was actually 2 separate, small bedrooms facing different directions. I was moved to a Junior Suite which was fine but I never felt that the staff cared. Polite but no "extra miles".

Friendly staff. However, room was very small and amenities were poor. Breakfast was buffet style and not even table service coffee - just self service nespresso machines that didn’t work. The bar lacked atmosphere and had average service. The hotel was clearly targeting US boat tour tourists with a seperate reception desk for the cruise company. Feels that’s how they justify the high nightly rates as it wasn’t high end boutique level quality.

Great stay. Air-conditioning was not working , when we wanted cooler air during the night and we would not open the windows due to street noises.

Wunderschönes Hotel, Frühstück in den Frescohallen unglaublich schön und gute Auswahl. Auch das Abendessen definitiv einen Besuch wert. Super zentrale Lage. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Zimmer sind allerdings echt kühl und die Matratzen etwas weich.

Perfect location for sightseeing. Good restaurant options. Nearby ferry for tours. Beautiful restaurant within the hotel. Lovely journey via the cable car to reach Mount Fløyen.
