Now that is how to run a hotel
We had a great experience. The service was all one could ask for. We were there for valentines day and my birthday and the staff celebrated both, including a birthday cake! The large suite was always clean and tidy and the daily fruit fix was a welcome addition. The location is fabulous close to some great restaurants and the center of Belgrade. The restaurant was clean and food good. Service everywhere was fabulous. We will definitely be back.

Wonder experience at Belgrade
My wife and I had an excellent experience at the Townhouse 27 hotel. The staff at the hotel was super friendly and helpful! Helping us to arrange an airport transfer at the last minute, offering us an umbrella when it was about to rain, assistaning with directions... Just very friendly and professional overall. The room and hotel condition was also lovely. It's not a super big hotel so expect a cozy environment. The location is also central so only mins walk and you're in the middle of a nice shopping boulevard. By the way, if you haven't been to Belgrade, you should check it out, it's an hidden gem.

Great hotel!
Great hotel, great service, fantastic breakfast! Staff was really helpful, they made sone great vegan dishes for breakfast and were very service oriented! Only downfall is their heating is standard set on 27 degrees. Which is a lot! Airco couldn’t cool, only heat. However, after asking reception they did change this to cooling. So temp in my room went down. But would be better if standard temp was lower.

I stayed here for ten nights on a business trip and would be very unlikely to return. In summary, they don't deliver the value as promised. There are hotels within a couple of blocks that are much cheaper and do a better job. First the good things. The location of the hotel is perfect and situated in within Belgrade's Dorćol neighborhood. Cafes, restaurants, pubs, bakeries, and shops are all within walking distance. The hotel overall is clean and welcoming. The front-desk staff were accommodating and helpful. However, the hotel fails to achieve the claimed 4-star boutique hotel experience. It is the small things that set a boutique hotel apart and Townhouse 27 highlights many of those claims on their website. The rooms are basic, nothing different than what you'd experience in most any 2 or 3-star hotel in Belgrade. The furniture is drab, chipped, and a bit shabby. Definitely in need of updating. The individual bottles of toiletries each had the seals broken as if they are simply refilling them and putting them back in the room. I wouldn't use those. The worst part was the cafe. I had two Serbian colleagues join me for coffee at the cafe one morning. As we were a larger group we moved to a larger table in the nearly empty patio. The waiter came out and began yelling at my guests who became so embarrassed they insisted we leave. Upon informing the management of the incident they took absolutely no action and essentially accused me of lying about it.

We indeed reacted immediately having sent the small apology treat to your room, but unfortunately did not manage to meet you in person with our manager. Unfortunately, just after your check out, we realized that misunderstanding and your feelings about it are much deeper which resulted with comment on Trip Advisor also, so as your direct mail to us. Please, be sure that nobody in Café nor in whole hotel had any bad intensions, on contrary. Bang & Olufsen TV sets we started changing just last month in order to increase guests satisfaction with new, smart TVs of last generation and process of updating an information online did took a while, therefore we apologize for not reaching to you with information in due manner, while you were choosing and booking hotel in Belgrade. Regarding cosmetic in rooms, we assure you that we do not refill the bottles, that is for us unacceptable. Our Housekeeping team is with us for past 10 years and represents the pilon of our service on which we are most proud. We are sorry that you disliked the design of your room, we have tried to present all our rooms on our site just the way they are. Our design, room size and comfort are something that set us apart from other hotels of 4 star in Belgrade. We are truly sorry that you didn’t like it. Beautiful spacious room
The hotel is very clean and has lots of hand sanitizer and masks available. It is definitely a boutique hotel and does have not spacious common areas like gyms or courtyards. Nonetheless our room was spacious and had a balcony and sofa as well as very comfortable bed. Parking was at a garage a building over. The location is very good for walking the city, just a bit off the Main Street of Nez Mikaela (spelling). Breakfast service was pretty slow but the quality was good. It was unclear what was included within the scope of the breakfast. I felt like I was in the heart of the city. The women at the desk helped us with recommendations and calling restaurants.
