Good price and quality in the area
The hotel is very well located in the central area of Belfast. The room is a basic IBIS room. Maybe small for two people if you stay several days as you don't have a lot of place for your luggage and clothing. They haven't cleaned outside of the windows thus I had bird stools in my widows for almost one week. I also don't like that you must pay 2£/luggages to store them after check-out.

Mediocre hotel in Belfast
Hotel is well located and staff is helpful. Room was clean. Aside from that: stairs were filthy, one of the two elevators broken, soundproofing is really bad which is a problem when there is a nightclub right below the hotel and that people have an argument in the corridor. Parking is complex for non-resident as you can only pay with coins.

bien placé et pas cher mais bruyant, spartiate
a part le fait que l'hotel est bien placé et que les tarifs sont pas trop chers, il n'y rien de bien. la boite de nuit a coté fait du bruit dans la chambre, la douche donne directement dans la chambre sans aucune intimité. la chambre est tres spartiate. les couloirs n'etait pas propres. du fait de la non ventilation de la douche, la chambre devenait humide. aucun placard pour ranger ses vetements et bien on entendais les bruits des chambres voisines.

Établissement moderne proche du centre ville, et à un tarif intéressant. Seul bémol, le sol de la chambre devient rapidement humide après 2 douches car aucune ventilation dans la cabine de douche...

Strong chemical air freshner smell
This is the third time we stayed at the hotel. Conveniently located withing walking distance of the city centre in a pleasant neighbourhood. This was, however, the first time we had problems. As an asthma sufferer, the (unnecessary) chemical air freshner which could be smelt strongly in the corridors and the room gave me breathing difficulties. We had to sleep with the window open with noise coming from some outside generator. The staff were very helpful indeed: moved us into another, quieter room and asked the cleaning staff not to use the air freshner. I would like to come back next time but would like guarantees that this would not happen again. Even for non-astmatic customers, that strong chemical scent can't be good for anyone........

L’hôtel est à 2 pas du centre ville et le pub en face, « the points », est très bien. Une bonne soirée sur Belfast. Le parking de proximité était plein lorsque nous sommes arrivés et ça doit arriver souvent. Nous avons trouvé un stationnement gratuit plus loin dans une rue après la gare qui longeait les voies.

Hotel très simple mais efficace. Chambre spartiate : 2 lits jumeaux, pas de salle de bains séparée, une simple cabine de douche et un lavabo directement dans la chambre. Cabinet de toilettes. Très bien situé, proche centre ville à pied. Restaurants, pubs à proximité. Petit déjeuner correct. Personnel très accueillant. Attention, par contre à la situation de la chambre : orientée Nord = parking d'une société donc calme orientée Sud = pub discothèque très bruyant Notre chambre avait quelques problèmes évacuation d'eaux usées donc une odeur forte en retour (travaux dans la rue en rapport ????).

Tarifs raisonnables mais confort sommaire (pas de salle de bain à proprement parler). La chambre n'était pas parfaitement propre. En revanche, le service et l'accueil sont excellents.

Le samedi soir cest très bruyant à cause de personnes ivres qui ont empêché mes enfants de dormir. Malheureusement il n'y avait que pas de téléphone dans la chambre pour prévenir la réception. Par contre les autres nuits étaient parfaites.

Nous étions dans la mauvaise moitié de l'hôtel donnant sur ce que je pensais être un pub et qui est un club passant de la techno dans leur cour juste au pied des chambres. La musique est extrèment forte malgré les 2 fenêtres et nous a empêché de dormir jusqu'à 1h30. Nous avons été ensuite réveillé à 5h par des bruits de plomberie ayant lieu toutes les 5 min

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Small rooms but perfect for our needs. Water for the showers was either hot or cold- not possible to set in between. Bar next door means loud music at night - especially weekends. Great little cafe right across the street.

Pour une nuit de transit... pas pour un séjour!
Un hôtel qui n'est pas l'équivalent d'un etap hôtel en France ou nous n'avons pas eu de chance avec la chambre! Salle de bains en piteux état, faïence manquante, moisissures sur les joins de la douche... assez bruyant dans les couloirs mais ça ce n'est pas la faute de l'hôtel...

I was in Belfast when there were three festivals going on so hotel prices were very high. ETAP Belfast provided an inexpensive hotel within easy walking distance of City Hall. It was basic but perfectly comfortable. A very good budget hotel for exploring the city, as long as you don't expect any frills.

I had travelled to get to Belfast for several hours and arrived at the hotel for 12pm. The room was ready but was told if I wanted the key it would be an extra £10 charge. As a guest who has visited that hotel on numerous occasions I found that terrible. No extra work was involved the room was ready so out of principle I waited until 3pm. The shower in the room was not great the top holder was broke so could only use the shower by holding it in my hand. Did I ask for £10 because of this poor facility ….. No but I am expected to pay £10 to get a key to my room when it is already ready.

If the room is ready earlier than the regular check-in time, we do charge an extra 10, as the guests are checking-in earlier. However, we can hold your luggage for free until check-in time. I am sorry to hear that you had problem with your shower. However, we do have maintenance at the hotel, just let us our reception staff know and we can send one our team to take a look and fix it, our change rooms if necessary. Would recommend for a short stay. Room was not ready until almost 4 pm, and there was no ice machine, or ice ice available from the bar. I ordered a pint of Guinness that took a while to arrive and was warm. Area was extremely convient and the stafff was both apologetic and friendly.

As much as the staff were top notch lovely helpful people here are the bad points. Bed rock hard I got 1.5 hours sleep couldn’t do a second night left in the afternoon, tea and coffee only available in front of the reception 24hours but anytime you want a hot drink you have to go there. Breakfast is abysmal, Toast, jam and choc spread in jars but nothing you can put any in to take to the table. Croissant, Brioche, 3 cereals. Continental breakfast. Tinned mixed fruit, two bowls of yogurt and a very small selection of cheese and cold cuts. If I could load pictures I would.

Very basic hotel, more like a hostel. Rooms very cramped, barely walking space around the bed, shower and basin in room, toilet separate. Common areas carpets stained, quite expensive for a basic basic service. Breakfast a very minimal continental breakfast for €8.

Bed is comfy enough but the hotel and room just don’t feel that you can relax at all. Can’t understand the concept of having a separate toilet and shower cubicle. The window is drafty and you can hear clearly the noises from outside.
