« 20m walk to the city center. It's a fun experience for once but the large dorm isn't very comfortable overall and there are probably better options at the same price. The poweroutlets next to the bed don't hold plugs very well so they keep falling. Wifi doesn't cross the thick walls very well and there are no repeaters in each room so signal isn't strong. Bunk beds the ones below have curtains, not the ones above and they are assigned. Staff is absolutely friendly and helpful »

« I had a great stay in an upstairs studio room here (rm 15). It caught the morning and afternoon sun.
I didn't have a rental car for this trip, the location of the motel is great. I enjoyed morning walks in Hagley park, it is an easy 2km flat walk to the city centre. Was easy to get a bus to other destinations. Lots of cafe, coffee, restaurant choices all near.
